They reached the bus station sooner than they expected. She was tired. So, she leant on him and slept. He admired her. She smiled like a baby. She was certainly dreaming. He smiled too. Despite his need to sleep, he preferred to stay awake. He felt he was responsible for her.

To celebrate her freedom, he asked her to accompany him on a trip to Morocco, where he intended to make a film. - Why Morocco exactly? - A country I love!

J’ai écrit cette nouvelle dix ans auparavant. Quand j’étais jeune, j’avais l’habitude de courir le long de la plage. Un jour, j’ai vu un jeune avec des béquilles. Je me suis arrêté et je l’ai salué. Cette scène m’a impressionné et le souvenir a duré jusqu’à présent. A ceux qui se dévouent pour mener une vie décente malgré le handicap, je dédie cette nouvelle.

I wrote this story ten years ago. When I was young, I used to run along the beach. One day, I saw a boy with arm sticks. I stopped running and saluted him. The scene impressed me and the memory lasted in my mind up till now. To those who struggle to live a decent life in spite of the handicap, I dedicate this short story.
