Sovereign Grace Church Midland TX

Christ is our King and we must worship, trust and obey Him.

Pay close attention to your great salvation in Christ both for this age and for the age to come.

In His incarnation and perfect priestly ministry, Jesus died to save us from our sins and lives to sympathize and strengthen us in our sufferings so that we would have His mercy and help in our time of need.

Jesus has come as the promised and perfect prophet to fully and finally show us God as our Father so that when we look to Him we can be assured of His love and devoted to His mission.

God promises to bless us so that He can use us to bless others. Believing in God’s promises about tomorrow changes the way we behave today.

God is not honored in empty religious gestures, but in true obedience expressed by love in deed and truth.

Jesus unites the office of Priest and King and will finish the spiritual temple using living stones.

The God who is our rest, will not rest; until we find our rest in Him

Obedience to God’s commands does not save us from our sin but is proof that we have been saved from sin through our faith in Christ and that we seek to turn from sin and obey Him as expressions of love for God and neighbor.

God gives us grace to persevere in His work by empowering us with His Spirit and believing that He has promised to accomplish great things through small things.

God made Christ to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God and become more like Him in His character and mission.

God’s promises to us and presence with us are greater than we can imagine and His blessings to us personally are so that we can make Christ known globally.

God comforts the weary believer by His presence and His promises so the weary believer can obey God by His power.

God draws near with greater grace to all who humble themselves in true repentance.

God promises that when we turn away from sin and turn to Him, He is standing ready to bless us and refresh us with a renewed experience of His love, forgiveness and power to obey His Word.

God has given us a new beginning in Christ and will empower us to overcome our sin, our weakness, and our brokenness so that we can do His work of building up the church and reaching the lost.

The one thing we most need and will daily seek is to behold the beauty of God in the sacrifice of Christ because it will strengthen our faith and silence our fears.

God will deliver His people, and they will taste and see that He is good.

In light of God’s providence, we are called to trust Him in all things.

The abundant love and mercy of God requires us to take seriously the confession and repentance of sin, and to take seriously the power of the forgiveness of God.

Because God knows and cares for us so intimately, we should live in confident holiness before him.

The Lord will surely guide and guard all who put their trust in Him.

Christ our Risen Shepherd promises to provide us everything we need for life and godliness both now and forever.

When your circumstances seem to be destroying you, when your soul is discouraged and when God seems distant, put your hope in God by remembering His steadfast love to you in Christ.
