Soccer is getting so choppy that I might prefer going to a baseball game soon. Enough with all the stoppages and moaning and groaning from players and managers…let’s just play!

Arsenal wades past Wolves…Newcastle thrills in the north and Burnley grabs massive points at home.

LAFC defender Aaron Long makes over $1 million a year in MLS and still couldn’t put a damper on Messi’s LA moment. Stars like Selena Gomez, LeBron James and Leonardo DiCaprio were all in the house to watch one of the best ever…put on a show!

Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr was a credentialed photographer at the Inter Miami game vs Nashville SC tonight. Inter Miami matches are being streamed in NYCs Times Square. Messi Mania is very real and I’m lovin’ every minute of it!

The cohesion with which Inter Miami has come together so quickly is a testament to the commitment and love for the game that everyone at the club seems to possess. Tata Martino, Beckham, Messi and the Mas bros have MLS rockin’ and rollin’ and I love it!

Inter Miami defeated Nashville SC 2-1 in 11 rounds of penalty kicks. Lionel Messi once again proved that he is up to the task…and excited about it!

Lionel Messi continues to dominate Leagues Cup games while everyone else tries to figure out how to slow down the Inter Miami freight train.

The scary part is that Lionel Messi and Co. look like they are operating at 70% capacity and STILL dismantling their opponents.

This move has pleasantly surprised me. The hard-hitting and feisty holding midfielder should do well under the spotlight he will have on him at Chelsea.

We had great expectations of the World Cup winning Argentinian. But I think what he has already done in MLS has exceeded what we thought he would do.

The end came in dramatic fashion as Sweden eliminated the USWNT in penalty kicks to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIFA World Cup.

The two time defending champions will prevail in overtime 2-1 over Sweden in a thrilling and hard-fought knockout round match up.

It might be soooo cliche, but I’m all in! I actually look forward to watching Messi play for Inter Miami…and all the glitz and glamour that goes along with it.

There is a tremendous amount of fame and fortune associated with being a part of the USWNT nowadays. And it could be becoming an unwanted distraction to the team at this FIFA World Cup.

Way back in the day, before free internet calling, you had to pay a premium. For me, it was close to $400 to chat with USMNT goalkeeper Kasey Keller about his life in Germany and England back when he was with Gladbach.

Manchester United sorta let me down by featuring basically their youth team when I drove 300 miles to see them. Inter Miami not only has me intrigued, but has hooked me with their ambition, drive and exquisite play!

Thank goodness we’ve all already forgotten about the MLS All-Star game (unless you’re an Arsenal fan) and are looking forward to Messi’s debut Friday - because it was a terrible performance by the league’s “best.”

Ronaldo thinks his league is better than MLS. Messi might beg to differ. This is setting up for an epic pay per view event.

The World Cup winning Argentine will take Inter Miami to heights they never saw possible as they just became a global daily talking point with his signing.

The American maestro will have hefty expectations put on him in Milan. But I’m confident that after a pro-longed adaptation period - he will flourish in Serie A.
