Hanno was a Carthaginian explorer who set out from Carthage and sailed past the pillars to explore the Atlantic coast of Africa. The city of Cerne makes an appearance and you can decide if it is the same Cerne of Diodorus's account of the Amazons.

This week we take a peak as to what is inside the red orichalcum walls. We find out what Poseidon's descendants did to the hot and cold springs. We compare Cleito's palace to Hesiod's Triton's house. We also learn about ancient Greek naming conventions as well as a possible unique way to procreate. 

This is the episode I have been working so hard to get to. I start explaining what The Royal City looked like.  Since the Royal City was a harbor city, it was full of ships and merchants from all over.
