Messiah’s House · Selfish People – Jason Craft Freedom from sin is also freedom from self.  When Jesus saved me from my sins, He also saved me from me.  Salvation freed me from trying to make my own way from my own plans and agendas.  The new purpose that I have found in Christ should move me from serving myself to serving others. Finding your purpose in God requires you to get over yo...

Messiah’s House · People Proclaiming Praises – Jason Craft We have been marked as the people of God and one of the biggest things that marks us is our PRAISE of God. Scripture tells us that we are a peculiar people or a special people that  we might proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of the dark and into the light.  We have been purchased by God and we have been set apart fo...

Messiah’s House · United People – Jason Craft Scripture tells us that Believers are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. We are a building being fitted together that grows into a holy temple in the Lord. The key question is how can we grow together in such a way that our relationships attract the Holy Spirit? This message deals with what it means for the Body...

Messiah’s House · The People We Need – Dr. Shane Hand In today’s message, Dr Shane Hand explores the interconnectedness of our lives through the lens of community. The scripture is clear that we need people in our lives—to get us where God wants us to be—and that others need us for support and encouragement. Most importantly, we need Jesus, who is the foundation of our relationsh...

Messiah’s House · Common People – Jason Craft Scripture tells us that the 1st Century Church had all things in common. They were devoted to fellowship with each other because they chose to focus on their commonalities.  As Believers today, we have many things in common.  We have a common faith. We all have the same Father. We are also all apart of the same family.  We can have true fel...

Messiah’s House · People on Mission – Jason Craft This message deals with the time in which Jesus cursed a fig tree and it withered away. This event has been confusing for many Believers. Why would Jesus pick on that poor fig tree? Nowhere else do we see Jesus take his frustration out on nature. Most people interpret this event and say it’s connected to the impending judgement for Isra...

Messiah’s House · Why You Need THE PEOLE – Jason Craft There is a huge rise in the number of churchless christians across our land. Statistics say that around 3500 people leave the church everyday which is roughly 1.3 million people a year. Post Christian Culture is growing and many Believers have left their christian roots. Many Believers have forgotten that we have a command from God...

Messiah’s House · People Among Strangers – Jason Craft As Believers, we all need to remember that the World is watching the Church. The eyes of the World are on the Church and in a large way the World forms an opinion of God based on what they see happening among God’s people. We know that the World has a view of us as God’s people but the real question is how are we to view the World...

Messiah’s House · You are God’s People – Jason Craft Did you know that almost all the ‘you’ exhortations in the New Testament are in the plural and not in the singular? While it’s certainly appropriate to apply the promises of God personally, remember that much of what we’re told to do can only be fleshed out in community as we live out the gospel together. We as God’s people are...

Messiah’s House · Not A Fan – Gary Wells Jesus didn’t call us to be fans.  He’s not interested in enthusiastic admirers.  He didn’t say come and be a fan, He said, “Come and follow Me”.  Many people know a lot about Jesus, but the question is:  Do I know Jesus and does he know me?
