Off The Script w/JDfromNY

AEW Redemption was exactly what everyone feared, and worse coming on in to tonight's show. This was the most boring, and useless show...a dirty cash grab for AEW that did nothing for their overall build heading into AEW ALL IN Wembley. Join @JDfromNY and Jesse @ChitownSmark for the AEW Redemption 2026 Post Show Review for Sunday July 26th, 2026.  📍Support The Channel: ♦Join the "Off The S...

We are one week away from SummerSlam, and tonight is the first and only meaningful face to face for Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, and they are finally MAD at each other heading into SummerSlam.  CM Punk and Cody Rhodes nearly came to blows in the aftermath of Saturday Night's Main Event when Punk "accidentally" smacked Cody Rhodes in the face with the WWE Championship, and then got into a s...

Has there been a more worthless wrestling show all year than AEW Redemption? Tonight, Tony Khan tries to sell us on his money grab PPV that he RUINED when he took the belt off MJF to pop a cheap rating.  Kevin Knight, the TNT Champion, not too worried about his title because he rather have Kenny Omega's Championship, defends the TNT Title against Darby Allin. And Kenny Omega teams with Will Os...

Both WWE, and AEW have shown us this week why Pro Wrestling might just be worse in 2026 than it was in 2025. With WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, WWE Raw, and last week's AEW Dynamite, this may have been one of the worst weeks in all of Pro Wrestling all year.  Saturday Night's Main Event was held at Madison Square Garden in New York, and was basically the NBA on TNT airing on Peacock...

Less than two weeks from SummerSlam and WWE is in serious trouble. On this week's Two Count, JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman tackle ten topics starting with the real heat between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes after Saturday Night's Main Event and whether this feud has been given enough time to breathe going into the second biggest show of the year. Tom Brady and Logan Paul are apparently...

This might have been one of the worst WWE Raw shows all year, and I am not even kidding when I say that. Ot was THAT BAD. We had 5 Judgement Day segments, and 3 Danhausen segments. A total of 8 segments filled half of WWE Raw with Judgement Day and Danhausen. Roman Reigns didn't show up for work AGAIN, leaving a major title match with Seth Rollins feeling unimportant. And, LA Knight battled Ja...

Can a show that looks THIS bad have major SUmmerSlam implications? Can Triple H get us excited for SummerSlam? WWE Saturday Night's Main Event is LIVE from Madison Square Garden tonight, just two weeks before SummerSlam. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes are forced to coexist in a blockbuster tag team match against Gunther and Sami Zayn, with a massive stipulation hanging over their heads. If Punk and R...

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes was announced as the Main Event of SummerSlam last week. They have managed to generate no interest and move barely any tickets for such a huge match. With two weeks left, can Punk & Cody get people on board with what they are selling for SummerSlam? Nick Aldis has given the Main Event of Saturday Nights Main Event a major SummerSlam altering stipulation. If Gunther, and...

Tony Khan MESSED UP. BAD. His master plan, was to take the AEW Championship from MJF, put it on Kenny Omega to give us a Redemption PPV Main Event with...KEVIN KNIGHT!? The hot topic in AEW is why put the belt on Kenny Omega? Tony Khan HAD to have a great idea if he was going to take the4 belt off his biggest star, right? Nope. In typical Tony Khan fashion, he lets us down once again, and now we a...

Kenny Omega is the NEW AEW Champion and both JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman have a lot to say about it. On this week's Two Count, the guys break down ten topics across the biggest week in pro wrestling, starting with AEW Dynamite Beach Break pulling its highest rating in over two years with MJF and Kenny Omega in the main event, and why Tony Khan finally got something right by treating...

WWE is doing everything they can to make SummerSlam better than WrestleMania as SummerSlam is STILL struggling to sell tickets, and WWE is freaking out internally.  With CM Punk and Cody Rhodes slotted for the Main Event, and Oba Femi stepping into Hell In A Cell with Brock Lesnar, SummerSlam is WELL below company expectations but why? Is it a destination issue? Is it a match card issue? Are high...

Tonight, it's all about Chad Gable. This is the easiest creative decision for Triple H all Summer, and it's Chad Gable winning the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.  Chad Gable survived a 7 man Gauntlet Match to determine who the #1 Contender is for Penta, and the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Joe Hendry, Rusev, Ethan Page, Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio and Je&...

CM Punk is back on SmackDown officially full time, and the fallout with Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes begins tonight.  CM Punk was a late replacement on Monday, and won the WWE Championship from Sami Zayn, ending his 9 day reign but what does Cody Rhodes have to say about CM Punk stealing his thunder?  Also, Carmelo Hayes finally gets his shot at Trick Williams in a Non-Title match, and if Carmelo win...

CM Punk walked into Chicago on Monday Night Raw and walked out as the new WWE Champion, ending Sami Zayn's reign at just nine days. JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman break down every angle of what happened. Was this the right call, was it a make good for Punk, and did Triple H book himself into a corner by putting the title on Sami in the first place? The guys also tackle the Vision winni...

Is Kenny Omega really going to be the end of MJF's AEW World Championship reign? Or will MJF prolong himself just enough until AEW Redemption ion Montreal? AEW Dynamite Beach Break is LIVE tonight from Clearwater, Florida. Kenny Omega made a deal with the Devil. If he cannot defeat MJF for the AEW World Championship tonight, he can NEVER challenge for the title again. MJF holds a 2-0 record ov...

Sami Zayn only lasted 9 days. Some fans are happy it wasn't Cody. And CM Punk is going into SummerSlam as the NEW WWE Champion but is it the right move? Sami Zayn only lasted 9 days as WWE Champion, and it was CM Punk, NOT Cody Rhodes who ended his reign on WWE Raw last night in Chicago, shaping SummerSlam up to be one of the biggest shows of all time, with two HUGE Championship matches but WH...

CM Punk wins the WWE Championship as Triple H abruptly ends Sami Zayn's reign as WWE Champion after 9 days.  After Cody Rhodes was taken out by Gunther, Nick Aldis placed one phone call, and CM Punk answered to fill in for Cody Rhodes to take on Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship, and the outcome was expected. With CM Punk the new WWE Champion, what happens going into SummerSlam now? Does Sami...

Sami Zayn is coming HOME. The NEW Undisputed WWE Champion returns to SmackDown for the first time since shocking the world at Night of Champions but by the looks of it, his reign may be short lived.  A #1 Contender match is set between Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso for the right to wrestle Sami Zayn next Monday night in Chicago on WWE Raw...with the heavy rumors of a return for CM Punk ahead of SummerS...

We could be looking at the end of MJF's AEW World Championship Title run but it won't be because of Mark Briscoe.  MJF defends the AEW World Championship against Mark Briscoe, after Briscoe's team won Sunday's Forbidden Door 12 Man Steel Cage Match. But Mark Briscoe isn't winning the AEW Championship. It's all about REDEMPTION. Kenny Omega is eyeing another shot at MJF, and...

If you love Pro Wrestling, this past weekend had offerings from WWE, NXT, AEW and TNA, all directly competing against one another. Who won the weekend, which show came out on top, and which show flopped?  WWE presented Night of Champions where Sami Zayn finally became the WWE Champion after beating Cody Rhodes, and Gunther in a Triple Threat match, and both Oba Femi, and IYO SKY won their respecti...

Oba Femi was set to choose his World Championship match at SummerSlam. Then Brock Lesnar appeared and announced he wants Oba Femi inside Hell In A Cell at SummerSlam.  Oba Femi has bypassed his World Title match at SummerSlam which he earned by winning King of the Ring to finish Brock Lesnar off once and for all at SummerSlam. Why did WWE take such a convoluted way to get us a 3rd match, and did t...

Tony Khan is incredibly lucky his "Triple Main Event" went as well as it did. If not, AEW Forbidden Door 2026 would have been a complete, and utter flop.  Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland wrestle for the third consecutive summer in the Men's Owen Hart Cup Final and at this point I don't know what else these two guys have left to say to each other. Ospreay won the first meeting, t...

Sami Zayn is the NEW WWE Champion, and Oba Femi is the King of the Ring. I can't believe it but Triple H actually made the right calls at Night of Champions! Jey Uso battles Oba Femi in the King of the Ring Final, with Roman Reigns having tasked Jey with winning the whole thing on his own, without any help from The Bloodline. Good luck with that.  Also, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Sami Zayn coll...

It's the FINAL3 HOUR SmackDown this year and we are one night away from Night of Champions, and Sami Zayn should WALK AWAY as the new WWE Champion. Cody Rhodes will address BOTH Gunther and Sami Zayn on the final SmackDown before Night of Champions, where all three men will collide in a Triple Threat for the Undisputed WWE Championship. How did we get here? Nick Aldis had to FORCE this match a...

Tony Khan is dreaming big. Unrealistically big. Not only has AEW Forbidden Door killed all of the company's momentum coming out of Double or Nothing, he thinks THIS SHOW can combat THE WORLD CUP LMAO.  Konosuke Takeshita defends the AEW International Championship against Ricochet, Swerve Strickland vs. Daniel Garcia, Will Ospreay goes one on one with El Phantasmo, Jon Moxley and the Death Ride...
