Nerds of Legend

The Nerds give a brief synopsis of the first ten legions of Warhammer 40k and their Primarchs, all while Brendan makes his bias toward the Blood Angels very obvious.

Deep in the mossy temple, our party frees a number of the imprisoned youths. We encounter a dryad who holds the dragonriders responsible for all the war crimes committed during The War 500 years ago.

Join as we journey into the kingdom of Lur, which is home to the Doranen and the Olken. The country is ruled by the magic wielding and the magicless Olken do most of the day to day manual work. It is illegal for the Olken to do magic and the Doranen do everything with magic. Join us as we discuss protagonist Asher of Restharven's journey from fisherman to right hand of the king.

What began as trailing a group of goatmen to recover the Horn of Balmytria, eneded up with our party finding a group of young humans that appear to be kept prisoner. Inside we come face to face with a creature that may have some answers.

Today we finish talking about the Badab Wars, from Huron becoming the Blackheart and flying with his astral claws into the maw. To how this set the stage for how Games Workshop developed the Horus Heresy.

S3E9: After fighting of assassins and delivering Braccus to take the place of Pythor's daughter as a human sacrifice. The Heroes party with Pythor and receive some cool gifts. Following the revelry the party heads to the Tomb of Balmytria to pay their respects and find that it has been stolen.

S3E8: Convinced that they have a plan to save Pythor's daughter (Mox's half sister) the party decide to set up watch in the dungeons. Things seem to be going smoothly until someone has a different set of plans.

S3E7: Our group leaves the home of the Oracle with a prisoner in tow and on the path to prove themselves to be the prophesied heroes. The party heads to the court of Mox's father, who just happens to be Pythor the god of battle. Who is not in the best of moods.

S3E6: The Oracle is held in the clutches of a Sea Hag who was ordered to abduct her at the order of her father Sydon the Lord of Storms. The group begins to uncover a plot that is much larger than it seems.

s3e5: On a mission to save the oracle, the group finds the acolytes held at the tip of a blade. The mercenaries demand the surrender from our heroes, but shocking to no one they do not.

Brendan and Ben discuss the origins of Warhammer 40k and the circumstances that led to the creation of Games Workshop's Flagship Product.

S3E4: Following the vanquishing of the giant boar our party receives an urgent cry for help from the oracle. Dropping everything our party makes haste to the cave of the oracle. (Note: a glitch in audio recording resulted in lower quality audio for this episode.)

Episode 3: In hopes to begin fulfilling their destiny, and because Kaitlyn told them to, our unusual group head out to face a giant intelligent boar. This boar has taken to terrorizing the countryside, and has developed a joy of killing. Definitely an excellent place to start.

Ep 50: In the completion of our Norse Myth Series: we take a look at some of the stranger aspects of the legends such as: a ship made of fingernails, a man made of spit, and a ring that makes more rings.

Episode 2: After smoothing over tensions (sort of) the group comes to an uneasy agreement to work together. Then someone talks shit and all hell breaks loose.

Episode 49: Join us as we discuss Legendborn, a modern twist to Arthurian legends. Told through the eyes of Bree Matthews: a brilliant black girl who is attending an early college program at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. She encounters secret societies steeped in racism and misogyny, and journeys through ancestral memories to find out exactly how she fits in this strange new world.

S3E1: The adventure begins as four people from very different paths are called together for a divine purpose to fulfill a prophesy and save the world.

Episode 28: Finally the conclusion (for now) of our adventures in Candlekeep. Mopp is freed from the grips of the Pocketers and it was done with the extremely delicate and stealthy touch of the Periwinkle Posse.

Episode 48: The Norse Myths seems to have a few things in common 1: Loki always causes trouble, and 2: everyone agrees to do stuff if Freyja agrees to marry them. Who is Freyja and what makes her so desirable? Join us to find out.

S3E0: Meet Will, the voice of Onin in campaign two, who takes over as DM for campaign three. Join us for session zero: the start of our third campaign, meet the characters, and learn the background of the world of Thylea.

Ep 47: Set in 19th century New York, we follow the journey of the golem Chava and the jinni Ahmad. These two unlikely creatures find themselves and struggle to understand their new lives. A unique blending of folklores and creates an absolutely riveting tale.

Episode 45: We finally the Red Rising Trilogy and the Rebellion is complete. Follow Darrow's escape and rehabilitation, Severo's awesome insanity, and Mustang's rise to prominence. So many upheavals and twists in the third part of this trilogy.

Episode 27: After Murph impatiently casts fast friends onto a pair of guards. The group enter and things immediately go wrong to the point where sending a recently resurrected now zombie guard to the captain seems like a good idea. The group is shocked when they are found out.

Ep 44: The Legend of Utgard Loki "Loki of the Outlands" is a giant trickster, that challenged Thor, Loki, and two of Thor's servants. The Aesir are challenged with seemingly mundane task upon which they fail, but are later revealed to be of staggering difficulty. Join us as we take a look into this legend.
