Jesus' historical impact is unmatched. Kings and rulers have pledged allegiance to Him. Schools, universities, and hospitals have been established in His name. Worshipped worldwide and known through the ages, Jesus is a figure whose deeds and teachings are widely recognized.   Many of us can explain in great detail who Jesus is, but is that enough? Is it enough to be able to explain something...

Jesus was on mission with every person he interacted with in his life. He was never too busy or too distracted to see people and know them for who they were. This school year, our challenge is to see people the way Jesus saw people so that we can be on the same mission as him in our schools – as an adult or a student. The story of Zacchaeus shows us exactly what to do. Pastor Matt Pineda | Back to...

Most of us like stories — that’s why you read fiction books, watch movies, or even binge Netflix. A good story will help us think, keep us entertained, and possibly even teach us something. That’s why Jesus taught with Parables — to teach a lesson or a principle, or even sometimes just to make people think. Let's discover together what Jesus was teaching through his stories in this series, Summer...

Experts tell us that we are living in a day where an unprecedented number of people feel like they are stuck in a never-ending war with anxiety. And yet, for the believer, the message of the Bible is clear: Anxiety doesn’t have to control your life. Jesus said, “Do not worry about your life.” And the apostle Paul said, “Don’t Worry About Anything.” This is week two of our a special two-week messag...

He is risen! He is risen indeed! The end of the story is so good, you can’t keep it to yourself, especially for people who are struggling. That’s the way it is with the resurrection. Because Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, you don’t have to struggle through life – not for another day, another hour, or another minute. That is the message of Easter! Pastor Chris Philbeck | Easter at...

The words we speak will always have a positive or negative IMPACT on our lives. That’s a spiritual truth you simply can’t get away from. Because if we’re going to live genuinely faith-focused lives we need to be mindful of our words, NOW MORE THAN EVER. NOW MORE THAN EVER we need to be people who live with a spiritual perspective which means we need to people who see every part of life (past, present, and future) the way God sees it. Let's look at today through the perspective God's presence: He is here, he is with you, now is the time of God's favor, today is the day for the promises of salvation to come alive in your life. Pastor Chris Philbeck...

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever...
