Raised just outside Merseyside, Dan Ellis and his music are an idiosyncratic blend of melody and madness. Influenced by GTA games, the crazy technical instrumentation and chord patterns of 70s Midwest emo, MNLTH and beautiful Aphex ambience...the music holds its own whether at home braindancing, in a virtual world of hedonism, or in the sweatiest nightclubs. Long Grass, the closing track off his W...

"DJ based in Seoul, South Korea. He usually plays underground electronic music with Psychedelic and Chill out sounds in it to feel the audience’s trippy tension." @guuumiii

"I am still dizzy ... flying from Tokyo eastbound through Los Angeles and Detroit to London. I see pigeons nesting in the pine trees from the hotel window." @thinner_groove

Mantissa Mix 245: Nicky Jacobs [Pulling Strings] "There's no real hard and fast theme to this mix, I think Pulling Strings has got such an obvious nod to what it should sound like - emotive heart string tuggers. I think when I first started putting mixes together for this concept, not so long ago, I stressed out about sticking two hours of pure tear jerkers together. Quickly realised I didn't have...

The tracklist was inspired by wanting to celebrate and have fun; including new music aired on Bex's recent radio shows, festival set favourites and a couple from the new Mantissa release. Bex's...

The UK based duo Sonic Juncture, consisting of Josh Twigge-Molecey & George Protheroe, have worked with ANDRAS Records towards a distinct release based upon the sounds of soft composure and tranquillity. Ranging from the sounds of breakbeat, house and trancey reverberations of the 1990’s scene, the EP provides an escapism to the realm of lucidity; and Tranquil, the title track of the EP, epitomise...

"12 years ago, a good friend and I started to curate a German blog that mainly focused on the vibrant soundscapes of the UK dance music scene. Therefore I recorded a fast-paced mix that my 20-year-old self would have loved back then, but still builds a bridge to today. Hope you enjoy it too. Peace."
