We also talk about Leigh discovering her lifesaving club is still in existence in Nottingham and ahead of our first Trivia Night we start planning a few of our questions, what could go wrong with MC Leigh and Quizmaster Maxi running the show.

It’s Xmas Eve and this episode is special as for the first time Maxi & Leigh recorded it in the same room. Reunited after 8 months this proves if you don’t give up on something you truly believe in, you will always find a way, as we have! We talk about our family rituals growing us at Xmas and a few more of our Xmas favourite things, and a tip or too if you are the chef on Xmas day!

Tis the season so we take the time to remember what is really important, and what is not. We share some easy random acts of kindness we can all do, reminder ourselves that life is not about material things and that we need to go easy on ourselves at this busy time of year.

The final run up to Christmas can be stressful, so just do your best! Maxi had some big jobs at the Action Station this week and we talk about the importance of stretching after exercise so do you make time for it?

So why are first impressions important? We learn all about fire protective clothing and you might even have some warnings in your home, and what incredible thing we found when we visited schools in Canberra.

Celebrating this week as we are finally back face to face visiting a school for the first time in a year. We celebrate teachers so who was Maxi’s favourite and every journey does start with a single step as Leigh celebrates 23 years living in Australia.

We talk about the Random Act of Kindness from our Rescue Squad this week that saw Maxi head out on a half marathon with a backpack full of books to giveaway, and we send a message to our favourite Beach Lifeguards in the Isle of Wight.

We reflect on how our crazy online quizzes at the start of the pandemic led us to meet so many awesome people and create Maxi's Rescue Squad and at High School would we lead the marching band or the school debating team?
