Life Journeys

Fears that attempt to cause pain are utterly vanquished by the timeless reality of faith in God. How our body feels, where our finances lay, and what our fleeting emotions trigger have no bearing on our eternally reality. How dare we defy what is eternal truth by what is about to vanish like the morning mist. Listen to the short podcast, “Learning To Live Your Real Life” at https://bit.ly/m/Life-J...

To limit reality to our ability to perceive intellectually and scientifically greatly limits life. Eternal reality says that who I am, and my future are about who Jesus is in me. Life’s ups and downs won’t define me or my moral reality. God is near the brokenhearted and eases the crushed soul. The more you’re aware of the power of your identity in Christ, the more you’re going to find God's power to live for Him. Your reward will be about what you’ve done with Christ in you, not what you've done with you in you. What good things you've done is not your hope. Christ in you is. If you can be judged as guilty of the blood and body of Jesus, then you can be judged as worthy by the blood and body of Jesus by faith. Stop trusting more in your failures as a sign of defeat than you trust in Jesus's success as a sign of your sure victory. It’s time to live worthy of Him through faith alone. After a time of suffering, God will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. In the times of Satan’s sifting, God is perfecting you! You think you’re being brought low, but heaven is bringing you near! The liberty of living by the Spirit through faith is vital in the fire that refines the gold in your soul. Never let feelings be a source of faith or identity. Faith and self-defense are not compatible. A crash and burn doesn’t always mean you missed God! Use your faith for ease and comfort, and you'll get frustrated and quit. Use it to find the power of God's presence, and nothing will ever defeat you again! At our core, who we are determines how we govern our own lives and fears. It establishes our power to be and to thrive. Once we trade the world’s definition of identity for God’s, we learn the secret of overcoming the world and winning the battle of self-esteem. If we forget God, we’ll forget who we are. He said, “Don’t be afraid. You’re Mine!” Your identity is far beyond your pain, wins, and losses. You’re re-created in Christ into someone you can’t remake by yourself. Stop trusting in yourself alone to make the right choices. You are the choice of God. Who’s in you is greater than the whole world. America is not in a political, gender, or border crisis. It’s in a godless crisis - a consequence crisis. If you want to change America, start by changing your life. If you call this your country, and you are broken hearted because you love it, learn to love God and live in His presence as your greatest treasure. Get used to the fact that your standing is based on Jesus now, not you. Your peace is not about believing in yourself. It’s about believing in Jesus. Let the light shine on all your sins and then on Jesus and see which one is greater. Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. That’s your real life. Faith pulls the timeless realities of heaven into our earthly battles and builds an immutable spirit in us that can stand its ground. After the long battle you're in has been settled, your testimony won't be what this world did to you, but what God did for you. Faith sees the eternal while you live in the temporal. Listen to “Faith's Timeless Victory In Persistent Battle” at https://bit.ly/m/Life-...

We’ve been made to believe God. That’s the only way we can function and live out our purpose as we’re created to. Without faith we deny our identity and God’s. We don't have the right to abuse ourselves with unbelief. Faith’s not merely a confession. It's a consecration allowing us to be whole people. I’m dedicating this to a certain police officer. As a servant you’re going to pay a high price that the world will never applaud you for. Don’t despair. Like Israel’s calling, it’ll sift you to elevate you beyond what men will understand. The relentless faithfulness of God in choosing and leading you will put His voice in every storm you face.   Listen to “Develop The Shout of A King” at https://b...

Live a life that can only be explained by the fact that Jesus is alive. He said, “The world doesn’t see me, but YOU SEE ME!” Our spiritual sight by faith is far better than eyesight! It sees Jesus and establishes our real life! Our time here is temporary, but our lives are eternal. It’s time to start living our real lives. Listen to “By Faith, Live Your Real Life” at https://bit.ly/m/Life-Journeys...

God will use injustice to take you to a higher plain. Pride stands as the great enemy of faith. Faith must be subject to testing to prove and perfect a man in patience, and surrender. Faith is not merely a confession. It is a consecration. It must produce something in us before it releases something from above.   Listen to “When God & Men Seem Unjust” at https://bit.ly/m/Life-Journeys On Spoti...

The depth of my pain depends upon the depths to which this world has a hold on me. Joy doesn’t come by being given back the things that the world has taken. It comes by esteeming the things of God to be of greater worth than this world. If I lose my life, may it be for others and not for my selfishness.
