This Week Josh talks about the 4th Commandment in the Big Ten: Honoring the Sabbath. Its easy to turn the Sabbath into nothing more than a lot of extra work and preparation, but God had a different plan, and it's probably more fun than you might think!

Continuing our series on the 10 Commandments, we dive into the 2nd: Do not make for yourselves any image. Does this mean we should immediately delete our Instagram accounts and never use a camera again? (Rest assured, that is not the case!) Join us as we answer the question: What is our image!

We begin our semester-long study of the 10 commandments, starting with the first: to have no other gods besides Yahweh. Join us as we learn the terms of the deal God made with the people of Israel after they've been set free from bondage in Egypt.

The week after Easter seems like a good time to see that the Gospel is Good News! This parable shows us the history of the Old Testament and how Jesus is the sacrifice and our cornerstone.

This week's Kingdom Thing is that the Kingdom requires action. As we live Kingdom lives we are prompted by obedience to act on the Kingdom knowledge that we have. Grace saves us and kingdom action is how we act because we've been saved by grace!

Be prepared for a grace awakening in our text tonight as we study the parable of the Workers and the Field in Matthew 20. 

Matthew 19 tells the story of the Rich Young Ruler and the parabolic statement about camels and the eye of a needle. We see that the Kingdom Thing is that the Kingdom involves our heart posture. Check it out. 

Matthew 18 tells us the story of how forgiveness is a Kingdom Thing. As we are forgiven, we forgive others!

We will look at Ephesians 5 and see what mutual submission can look like in a dating and marriage relationships. Valentine's Day seems like a great day to talk about relationships and the Kingdom. 

We journey through Matthew 18 and see the difference in childlikeness and childishness. Who will we be dependent upon, Jesus or the world?

We continue in our walk through the Parables of Jesus and see that the Kingdom is Worth it All. What would happen if we lived as if the temporary is temporary and the eternal is eternal. 

We look at two parables in Matthew 13 to see the Kingdom Thing of Growth. Growth isn't just external, it's also internal. Realize your potential. 

We look at the story of Abraham and Isaac and see if there are things that we would pursue more than the Lord. How can we choose the Lord more fully?

A difficult text can give us a good look at the character of God. Join us as we look at the God of both love and justice.
