We serve an awesome God. Sometimes we take for granted all of His marvelous gifts and mighty works.  It is imperative that we be grateful and thankful for all He has done for us.

Potholes and obstacles are par for the course when serving God. I want to encourage you to keep your faith and hold on the God's promises for your life. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivers us out of them all!

Do you realize how blessed you are if you have one person praying for you? Some of us have more than one person. The prayers of your parents or grandparents are still working. In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed before He went to the cross for all mankind. Remember someone had you on their mind and prayed for you.  You are blessed because I'm praying for you!

Where do you seek help when you perceive trouble is near? The writer is infusing us with confidence as they boast about God's greatness, faithfulness, and securtiy.

Do you need a man or woman to motivate you? Or are you a self starter?  Look at the ant colony to see how hard they work. As we consider the ants we should also consider ourselves.  Are you led by the HolyGhost? Do you finish what you start? This is something we all can work on.

In the midst of a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, God has His eyes on an Ethiopian man on his way from worshipping in Jerusalem. This should remind us that our Heavenly Father not only knows what we need but He will send help when needed. Hold on, help is on the way!

As soon as the HolyGhost fell, the church was under persecution. Jesus told us this world would hate us just as it hated Him. Learn how God will use hard situations in our lives to further develop His agenda which is always spreading the gospel.

The bible tells us pride comes before a fall. One of the most simple ways to not be prideful is to walk in humility.  Realize everything we have, God gave it to us.  God's grace allows us to be successful.  All the glory belongs to God!

It's always good to be the first. It's a record that can never be broken. Imagine being murdered for telling someone the truth. That's exactly what happened to Stephen.

How do we get the kingdom mindset? We must have a heart after God and not after material things of the world. Seek God's favor and seek God's peace.

God has a standard that doesn't change for anyone. He has not only told us what to do, He became flesh and dwelled among us demonstrating a life of holiness. There's a God ordainded path for each one of us. Even through our mistakes there's an abundance of grace!

Our God is very strategic. He will place us in the right position to most efficiently get the job done. First, we must surrender our will to His. On today's episode we find Paul behind enemy lines but he trust God.  He understands God has a plan even when we don't understand His every move!

We give God all the glory for bringing us salvation. Even after His death, burial, and resurrection.  God blessed us with free will. Don't get caught up with the cares of life. Choose Jesus Christ and save yourself.

Every good gift comes from God including the gift of life. Prayerfully you have the opportunity to have a good life and experience God's grace and mercy. This means we should be willing to submit your life to Jesus Christ. It is more than lip service. We must be baptized and filled with His Spirit. A good life does not mean a perfect life becaue we trust God through the ups and downs. We must make...

Once we enter into a marriage convenant we should be willing to meet the standards God has set. In today's society, so many people are trying to redefine rolls for men and women. Let's see what God says a husband is and what are some of his responsibilities.

A wife is not just a title, not just a position, it's a responsibility instituted by God.  As a wife, please know and understand that you have a deep purpose as a help meet but you don't have to stop there. The virtuous woman shows us all how to embrace God's purpose you family and your community.

We don't always consider the significance of a name.  What do people think about when someone mentions your name? The bible tells us that good name is more precious that gold. The name of Jesus is more powerful and more important than anyone who has ever lived because He is the only one who can save your soul.

The bible says God is seeking worshippers. In these modern days we see so many ideas and ideologies and people in media being lifted up against God. It is time for God's people to stand up and give Him praise like never before. Think about all the great things He has already done for us.  Why wouldn't we give God Glory?

Leadership is more than living in the moment. When God elevates you to a position of influence and authority we must allow Him to give us a vision for the future. Once Elijah finished his course, he could leave his post in peace. Elijah personally poured into Elijah, his mentee. God then decides it's time for a changing of the guard.

The bible informs us about spiritual wickedness in high places. King David was a great psalmist and referenced these wicked and evil people as fools. They operate under a strong delusion and do not regard God in their hearts. As God fearing people, we should rest assured that our redeemer lives and when we pray He hears us.

100th Episode! God has done so much for us. He wants His people to show gratitude for all He's done. It's our responsibility to suport our local church financially and volunteer our time to support the ministry.  The apostle Paul specifically tells us not to give grudgingly, out of necessity or due to pressure from others. We know it all belongs to God. We appreciate whatever He entrusts to us.

We all have faith in something. What is your faith in? Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Faith is not just for the Pastor's and leaders of the church...it is for us all!

Some people make praying to God so complicated. Jesus told us how they like to pray in churches and synagogues. Some think a long and eloquent prayer is best. Jabez was born in poverty but he understood that God was able to lift him up out of that situation. He simply asked God to enlarge my territory and keep me from evil. God honored his request. He can do the same thing for you.

You are not alone! Jesus promised to never leave you or forsake you. Too often we are impulsive and try everything and everbody else; when we're out of options we go to God.  Always make God your first option and you will have less turmoil in your life. 

Our God will never accept 2nd place. He must be 1st place in our lives. This world system is very shrewd and convincing. People will urge us to let go of the "old ways" and be more accepting of the "new ways". They will say this is the 21st century. We say to those spirits...our God is not old fashioned and we will not compromise. Everything that comes against God and His people...Let It Burn!
