John 20:30-31 - “John’s Purpose” - As we come close to the end of our walk through John, let’s remember what John his Gospel record. Scripture Reading: Joshua 19-21

John 20:24-29 - “My Lord and My God” - Thomas was missing when Jesus came. So Jesus came to present Himself to him to confirm what he had heard. Thomas declares his faith. Scripture Reading: Joshua 16-18

Isaiah 44:28-45:4 - “Being Named Ahead of Time” - As we begin to move into Ezra I want us to think of how God uses even unbelievers in His plans. Scripture Reading: Judges 8-9

John 20:19-23 - “Peace to You” - Jesus comes to visit His fearful disciples. What a change that made. Scripture Reading: Joshua 12-15

John 20:11-18 - “He knows My Name” - Mary hears her name and immediately knows who spoke it. Do we have that kind of a walk? Scripture Reading: Joshua 9-11

John 20:1-10 - “He’s not Here” - He’s not dead, but alive! Rejoice. Scripture Reading: Joshua 5-8

John 19:38-42 - “Buried” - Jesus, buried, gone. Or is He? Scripture Reading: Joshua 1-4

John 19:31-37 - “Dead” - Jesus, the incarnate Son of God, died. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 32-34, Psalm 91

John 19:25-30 -“Behold your Mother” - Pilate said to “behold” Jesus two times. Now, Jesus tells John to “behold” his mother. Again, take time to see the faces. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 30-31

John 19:16-25 - “Crucified” - We all know about the crucifixion. We all know the hours of such a death. So, today, reflect more on the Person of Jesus than on His work. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 28-29

John 19:1-15 - “Ecce Homo” - “Behold, the Man.” Those are Pilate’s words in verse 5. Today, do just that. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 24-27

John 18:28-40 - “Pilate’s Bad Decision” - Peer pressure is not a youth problem alone. It is something we face often. Pilate fell to peer pressure. Will we? Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 21-23

John 18:15-27 - “Denials” - We are all familiar with how badly Peter reacted to direct questions of his relationship with Jesus. But, don’t be too harsh on him until you consider your own denials Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 17-20

John 18:1-14 - “Jesus is Arrested” - Thus we begin to walk the final steps to the cross. Read slowly and picture what Jesus is willing to do for His own. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 14-16

John 17:20-26 - “Jesus Prays for YOU” - At the end of Jesus’s prayer He looks down the passage of time to pray for us who will believe. And, He is still praying for you and me. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 11-13

John 17:1-19 - “Jesus Prays” - Today we will listen in to a time when the Son prayed to His Father. Think about how amazing it is that John could record this for us. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 8-10

John 16:25-33 - “Victory will Come” - When all looks bleak, hope is on its way. Jesus’ promises will sustain us in the darkest of times. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 5-7

John 16:16-24 - “Anticipating Trouble” - Jesus continues to prepare His disciples for what is coming. Today He points out how to have your heart prepared for the unexpected. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 3-4

John 16:7-15 - “The Holy Spirit’s Ministry” - The Holy Spirit has a ministry in both the world and in believers. Notice that difference today. Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 1-2

John 16:1-6 - “More on Persecution” - Jesus wants to prepare His disciples for what will inevitably happen. Are you and I prepared? Scripture Reading: Numbers 35-36

John 15:18-27 - “Being Hated - Being Loved” - The world has never been a “friend of grace.” Living righteously will always bring trouble. Let’s ask ourselves who we most want to be happy with our lives. Scripture Reading: Numbers 33-34

John 15:15-17 - “A New Relationship” - Have you made any new friends along the way of life? Today you will think about where to find your BEST friend. Scripture Reading: Numbers 31-32

John 15:8-14 - “Greatest of all Joys” - Where do you find your greatest joys? Maybe it is your family, or job or friends. All of these can fail you. Let’s consider the best place to find our greatest joy. Scripture Reading: Numbers 28-30

John 15:1-7 - “I AM:Number Seven” - Today we will see the final entry in the seven “I am “ statements John records about Jesus. Scripture Reading: Numbers 26-27

John 14:27-31 - “Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace” - The opposite of fear is peace. Today we will consider where peace is found and in Whom it is found. Scripture Reading: Numbers 23-25
