Extra Credit

We talked about it for no reason twice, and so Secret Gaygent 69 delivered unto us a document from on high… The Warriors series is about cats just like yours, except they’re nothing like yours because these cats are wild and honorable and live by a code. The Warrior code. And they break it a […]

Reiki. It’s a method of alternative healing where you hold out your hands and think about wellness or whatever and then it makes idiots feel better. But what about animals? That’s right! Animal Reiki, a book Frank and Shell bought from their local bookstore, provides a uh… Crash course in how to move one’s hands […]

Did you know that if your Reddit karma is abysmal enough it limits the subreddits you’re allowed to post on? Also what happens when the only subreddit you can post to doesn’t have any moderators? Well, Regular-Storm-9625 knows both those things and r/theories indirectly does too. Join us as one man feeds thoughts into chatgbt […]

Ever want to make up something that never happened to try to stick it to hypothetical people you made up in your head? Head on over to Not Always Right. Want those people and situations to be signs of your personal moral integrity regarding LGBT rights and issues? Head on over to Not Always Right […]

Cozy sure is a word that people use a lot nowadays. A “fair” assessment would be to say media is cozy if it evokes a feeling of comfort and lacks the kind of obstacles that more challenging fare provides. An “Extra Credit” assessment would be a lot less charitable, but we’ll spare you what you […]

So remember how one time we talked about the Villains Wiki and they quibbled over degrees of evilness or redemption in fictional characters or something? Well that’s because over at the Heroes Wiki they have to remind people that they aren’t cataloging every single character who is nice or the star of some show. That […]

We’ve dabbled in fanon. We’ve dabbled in canon. And now, we dabble in doo. Scooby-Doo, the franchise centered around a dog that talks funny and his owner-friend (sounds like a complicated relationship (not for him!)) who is a stoner who loves to eat help their boring friends solve crimes while driving around in a van. […]

We know. Any episode on any subreddit could be called solipsism.txt. This one is about people who have decided their sexuality is “attracted to fictional character” and they talk about how much more valid their love is than the character’s story, creator, or personality. It’s a healthy thing for young people who don’t have problems […]

Back in the day people used to have to write into magazines and call radio show hosts to talk about their encounters with the most explainable unexplainable things and it created a weird subculture where it became more and more difficult to determine whether or not the people involved were incredibly stupid or incredibly unwell. […]

So back when we read about Goodreads reading the classics, we were introduced to the 7th most popular book reviewer on the site, a one Miranda Reads. She likes to pull her hair and make wacky faces to indicate she didn’t like something, and then she applies that same approach to the words she writes […]

TRANSFORMATION FETISHES Yeah we did that again. This time on Reddit. You’re welcome? Let’s have fun reading between the lines as we discover what life is like for the fine folks at r/TransformationRP. Here’s a hint, they ain’t so fine… This week, Extra Credit is solving for f([(m4b),(F4m-F)]-futa4ne1).

Smoking is bad for you. It makes you smell. It makes it hard for you to run marathons. It stains your teeth. It can even kill you. And isn’t that kinda arousing? r/darksidesmokingfetish is the subreddit for Darkside Smoking Fetish, a subfetish of the Darkside Fetish family of fetish communities. They are really into the […]

If you ever needed more proof that user-submitted reviews were useless garbage well… Have we got an episode for you! Yelp is filled with self-important, unworldly losers who are low-key (or high-key) racist on the regular spouting opinions that will never truly impact anyone and accomplishing little but generating a small amount of smug satisfaction […]

We spent all day talking about gambling in a room at a lake house in our mind and though we started with periodicals on blackjack, we ended on a book that was full of crap. It was also about craps. But like… Where it’s not explaining the rules of craps (which of course we don’t […]

You know how every gambler insists they have a system and they know what they’re doing? Well those people are idiots. Ploppies! They aren’t the true geniuses that write for and read the quarterly publication Blackjack Forum. That’s right, we’re going back to physical media yet again to find some of the most obnoxious, embarrassing, […]

I know that sounds harsh, but it’s the truth. Flights of Fantasy–featured on Gaming in the Clinton Years, hosted by the NAVGTR channel, and largely presented by a one George Wood, a baffling man with a confusing “sense” of “humor”–was a cable access show about video games. What’s cable access you ask? Well, it’s a […]

Tulpas are… We’ve done this before you guys come on… FINE. Tulpas are a projection of spiritual focus and meditation to attain uh… Something or other sorry, it doesn’t matter here because we’re talking about how children online create really shitty imaginary friends by doing some bullshit that someone else on the internet told them […]

Spongebob Squarepants is a subject we’ve somehow discussed heavily already on a prior episode, but what if instead of tedious debate regarding the vital statistics of this cartoon character we just moseyed on over to AO3 instead and read about his private life with Squidward? Much like how andersd5 wrote exhaustive stories about Chris Redfield […]

Taylor Swift. Singer, songwriter, trendsetter, jet-fuel burner, music-owner, sapphic icon… Hm? What’s that? You say that Taylor Swift, performer of dozens of songs about the men she’s dated, isn’t queer? Ha! Well, if her lyrics aren’t queer then… Well… Impossible. That would be cringe. Come celebrate the gayest American Songstress Reddit can think of on […]

Elprehzleinn (which means Excellence is Just The Way It Is, so don’t get it twisted), aka https://mediazdesign.com, aka elprehzleinn.ca is a digital graphic design website run by JorjeJj Z. Elprehzleinn and Robyn Elprehzleinn aka Voon Muhn Rahn aka Justin (but that’s a different body). JorjeJj […]

Have you ever had someone just start talking to you about the evils of sex and sexualism in society? How the filthy sexuals are continuing cycles of abuse and only think with their junk? No? That wouldn’t surprise us because the people at r/antisex are the most introverted liars on the planet, but you should […]

Remember the Crying Lovers’ Forum where we read about dacryphilia, the fetish for crying? Remember how sometimes we do a deep dive on a specific person because they just make us go “w-what?” Well here’s your reminder! Amans Lacrimae and Lucky_Princess[some numbers] are having a dubiously consensual cry fetish rp that’s hundreds of posts long. […]

Hey all! Sorry for the delayed releases. Stuff’s coming. For now here’s a short. It’s probably not for everyone. Maybe it’s for no one. But it is voices reading dumb things that we recorded so… You’re welcome? Sorry.

Despite what the posts we read from the internet would suggest, people on the internet sometimes actually read books. Books that people care about. Classics, if you will. What’s a classic? Whatever’s tagged as classic on Goodreads, obviously! Let’s figure out which some classics are much reviled by the sharp-minded, sharp-tongued folks over at Goodreads, […]

On the internet, we often find ourselves inundated with impressively bad erotica. But did you know that before the internet people were also bad at writing flirtation, foreplay, sex, and fetish play? Okay, but did you know they were also GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! Hommi Publishing is on a mission to catalog gay pulp romance novels from the […]
