All original compositions, mostly orchestral. I am still deciding on a style, and probably will be for a very long time. Soli deo gloria.

Harp Allegro (Cmaj) - "Joy of Discovery" 21.02.2018

A pastiche, inspired by Joaquín Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez," a work that made me fall in love with classical music at a very young age. I subtitle it "Joy of Discovery" as it sounds like my memories of playing in fields of wildflowers as a young child. The meter is a fast 5/4, structured as a 3/4 + 2/4 polymeter. The form is ABA with coda. The harmony is fairly standard. Soli deo gloria.

X. Man and Woman / XI. The Seventh Day 29.05.2017

God decides to make mankind: Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, “Let us make humankind in our image and according to our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of heaven, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every moving thing that moves upon the earth.” So God created humankind in his image, in the likeness of God he created him, male and female he cr...

IV. Let the Earth Sprout Vegetation 28.03.2017

Based on Ge 1:11: And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 ...

IX. Beasts(Each According to Their Kind) 10.11.2016

Genesis 1:24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw tha...

V. Sun, Moon & Stars 20.09.2016

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God...

VIII. The Great Sea Creatures 03.08.2016

Genesis 1:20ff - And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created THE GREAT SEA CREATURES and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fru...

II. Separation Of The Waters 27.03.2016

A droning A note cuts across the middle of two themes, one a slow and one faster. Soon, the two themes are forcibly separated by a sforzando note, pushing the fast (heavenly) theme above the drone, and the slower (earthly) theme below. Genesis 1:6-8 -- And God said, Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water. 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the...

III. Leviathan And Behemoth 14.03.2016

The third day of creation sees the primordeal oceans recede and dry land appear. "The deep" is personified by a seven-headed chaos dragon called Leviathan, and the dry land by a lumbering ox-like creature named Behemoth. Yahweh defeats Leviathan, and brings forth Behemoth, who lies down for a long sleep and plants grow out of his back. See: * Job 40:15-24 * Job 41:1-34 * Gen 1:9-13 In two parts: L...

VI. Swarming With Swarming Things 26.01.2016

The Oceans teem with life. Weird, creepy crawly life. Some beautiful, some ugly, all fascinating.

Adagio in D Major for Horn and Orchestra 15.01.2016

Slow and dreamy. A sort of sentimental nocturne, based on a theme I wrote when I was 17. Features the solo horn, because. Original work.

Apocalypsis 05.12.2015

A rhythmic string orchestra piece inspired by Revelation 4, which is where the title comes from: "I looked and behold, a door standing open in heaven ..."

I. Let there Be Light 23.10.2015

First movement of Creation, suite for orchestra and chorus. Space echoes flat and dark, then come six consonants: yod heh yod, alef vav resh, the first words, "Let there be light." The first theme is a musical cryptogram of those Hebrew consonants. Light is separated from darkness. By the end, everything is vibrating, and light breaks forth. In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the e...

VII. Every Winged Bird 16.06.2015

22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

Dance around the Idol 12.12.2014

A frenetic orchestral dance in 7/8 time, in the spirit of Khachaturian's Sabre Dance. Inspired by the story of the Israelites worshiping the Golden Calf. (Madewith EastWest Symphonic Orchestra.)

Le Carnivaux des Maudits 23.12.2011

The Carnival of the Damned. So, my little brother asked me to make some "demented clown music" and I said, "Well, I do like circus music, and I am a little a demented. Why the heck not?" What came out is a little bit like a raucous interdimensional festival of weirdness that uses every note between C1 and C8 at least once, I'm pretty sure. Is that a theremin? Or a musical saw? Who knows? Is there...
