Dyketopia

A bite of gay delight for your ears! Based on the sell-out live comedy show, DYKETOPIA, this queer pod is hosted by standup comedians and friends Lee Robinson and Kate McLachlan. We’re bringing our silly gay jokes and games and gossip straight to your ears. Each week we’ll cover new topics, from talking about our GayDHD hyperfocuses, to crowning a Dyke of the Week, to giving unsolicited (and unqualified!) relationship advice. We’ll be dropping a new episode every Friday morning, so strap on your Birkenstocks and come hang.

Épisodes

7: Bad Vibes in the Housing Market 08.04.2022

This week on the podcast, we play Marry F*** Kill, talk about HGTV, and being gay at weddings. Our ADHD is incredibly rampant this episode and there's a moment where we both burst out in laughter and nobody remembers why.  Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin (@sofiebirkinillustration) for the poster design, Maria Levitov (@marialevitov) for the photography!

6. The Che Diaz Episode 03.04.2022

Due to Kate's horrifying persistence, the gang spends the whole time "unpacking" the phenomenon that is Che Diaz. Prepare for several woke moments! Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin (@sofiebirkinillustration) for the poster design, Maria Levitov (@marialevitov) for the photography!

5: We would be SO cute as dogs 27.03.2022

This week, Kate and Lee power through hunger and record a podcast while we wait for our pizza to get delivered. In this dazed, hangry state, they discuss that unhinged NY Post article about lesbian fashion, what their stripper names are, and what cartoon characters turn them on. We were so hungry, y'all.  Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin (@sofiebirkinillustration) for the poster design, M...

4: Did Miranda Lambert Vote for Trump? 18.03.2022

This week, Kate and Lee play Gay Would you Rather, Kate reacts to a surprise TikTok song from Lee, and we’re going off on Random Rants about gay topics that we pull out of a bag. Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin ( @sofiebirkinillustration ) for the poster design, Maria Levitov ( @marialevitov ) for the photography!

3: Are Septum Rings the New Snake Bite? 11.03.2022

This week, we talk about our tattoos, ADHD hyperfocuses, and the most contentious rivalry of all time: Tampa Baes vs the Real L word. Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin ( @sofiebirkinillustration ) for the poster design, Maria Levitov ( @marialevitov ) for the photography!

1: Gay Olympics 04.03.2022

This week, Kate and Lee chat about the gayest Olympic sports, educate each other on the L Word and queer plant culture, and give some unsolicited advice to a poor lesbian's r/Relationship_Advice post. Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin ( @sofiebirkinillustration ) for the poster design, Maria Levitov ( @marialevitov ) for the photography, and to @hannahjonescool for getting us started on th...

2: Throat Goat 04.03.2022

This week, Kate and Lee catch up on Valentine's Day and Kim Petras' new album (what a great week in February). They talk through their recent GayDHD hyperfocuses, quiz each other on different sex terms, and review some particularly choice Lex Ads. Big thanks to the incredible Sofie Birkin ( @sofiebirkinillustration ) for the poster design, Maria Levitov ( @marialevitov ) for the photography, and t...
