We don't need to worry about what is going on in the world. We need to worry about how our lives are reflecting the truth of what God says. We are His witnesses. Are you representing the truth of what you have seen in your relationship with Christ? All this and more!

Here is a great book that may help you in the process of unpacking your values, Leading from your Gut: How you can succeed by harnessing the power of your values, feelings and intuition by John Townsend. Today I share my struggles that had me thinking all about this again and give you some questions to ponder so you can start digging in to your own life.

Today I want to share with you guys a framework I learned in a book, NonViolent Communication by Marshall B Rosenberg. I also shared an example of how I was not practicing it! 

What are you offended by that happened long ago? Are you offended that God would be with people that you judge as ??? (Insert your judgement here.) I was in 1 Kings today, verse 1-4. I'm gonna share my thoughts with you guys about a post I saw. What good is it to discuss the sins of others?  What do we see today that is just as offensive? Let's talk about it.

What does this word mean? You hear it all the time in the Christian community but how the heck does it actually apply to our lives. I got a great definition of a steward from Dave Ramsey's book, "Baby Steps Millionaires". I highly recommend that book if you are looking to get a strong financial foundation under you!  On another note...I want to share with you guys how I am applying this word...

Are you concerned with all that is happening in the world? How could the Lord be using this for our good? I was in Amos 4 and 5 today. Join me if your day allows.

Let's talk about what hypocrisy is.  Learn the definition and then apply it when you read scripture that talk about it. Matthew 23 and Luke 12 is a good place to start.

Let's talk about blasphemy in a way that I haven't heard it discussed. You maybe shocked! I was in Mark 3. Read it and get your own insights.

I was in Mark 4 today.  It's easy to see where other people need light in their lives but are we becoming the people we want to see on others? Where we see darkness, do we have darkness? The wicked will have no rest and their deeds will be exposed.. And that's because they are not comfortable living in the light.  Turn the light on.

Have you gotten a word from the Lord whether it be reading the Bible and something jumping off the page into your heart or the revealing of what that word meant only to have it tested? We will all go through the process of being convinced of who the Lord is... We just got to keep going back. I was in Mark 4 today. NKJV just in case you were wondering.

Let's talk about what the Kingdom of Heaven is like and how what we see in the natural is not always accurate with the reality of the potential!
