To “grow up in him” we just have to get melted, people, into God’s cast of love, because Christ did not please himself, he pleased his Father. You and I do not please ourselves, we please God’s only-begotten son and our Father. So w e grow up in him and he, Jesus Christ, is the head. He is the head. In Romans 15:13, it just tells you that very plainly. Romans 15, verse 3. Did I say 13? {you did} T...

Signs follow believers!

Therefore, it is by in and through God's grace that we were saved, rescued, ransomed, made absolutely whole and complete by means of the believing of Jesus Christ. And this gift of God's grace, who is Christ Jesus, was not out or from you, but in contrast, the gift of God was the offering of his son, Jesus Christ.

Christianity is Love (agape) - Religion is selfishness

Today I'm going to discuss or teach the threefold origin of polytheism. Polytheism means many gods, and the Trinity is polytheism. I don't care who says that three equals one. And as we will read in this class, we're going to, I'm sorry, will be forced to read some theological garbage. And they will tell you that three equals one, they will try to couch that formula in some gobbledygook, and try t...

If you think Jesus Christ is God, you're more likely motivated by fear. But if you know that he's a wonderful man, the Son of God, and what he did that he had to walk, he had to believe God had to renew his mind, all the way to that cross. Then we will love God and we will love him, and we will not have to receive the grace of God in vain. The doctrine that Jesus Christ is God completely negates a...

Psalm 138. We always do verse two, in every class. But we hardly ever read verse one. And verse one says, I will praise thee with my whole heart. That's God. And the reason you praise God with your whole heart, everything you are ever hoped to be is so that the greatness of the heart of God may be seen. He's gonna do this before that God's Will I sing what? That's right. He's going to praise the t...

The first thing that happens in God's word when the annunciation of the Lord Jesus Christ is given, the angel Gabriel said what? The son of the what? Highest. And who is the highest? God. A son of whom? God. That's what it says, that's what it means. And why don't they line up with the word, well. And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father what? Yeah. If he's God then God's got...

Boy, what a record in Acts chapter seven, listen to this wonderful verse, verse 56 and said, this is Stephen. Behold, I see the heavens, what? And the son of God doing what? Standing on the right hand of God. Now that doesn't mean God had his right hand out here in the center man was standing on it... My Bible says Jesus Christ was standing on the right hand of God. And ladies and gentlemen, God c...

Colossians 3:12-17 KJV Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in you...

Colossians 3:1 (KJV) 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 (Literal) 1 Therefore, since you were raised [from the dead] together with Christ, desire earnestly those things which are above where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.

Philippians 3:20-21 (KJV) 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Philippians 3:20 (Literal) 20 Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for our savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to return from there.   21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is...

2 Peter 1:3-4 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and [what?] {godliness}, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue [is “power”]: [By His own] Whereby [by his own, which] are given unto us exceeding great and precious [what?] promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption...

Hebrews 13:5 KJV   Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 (Literal) 13 I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Christ who infuses me with inner strength.)
