Community Christian Church LPK Podcast

Welcome to Week 7 of our Teleios series! This week, we focus on the importance of living out our faith and leaving a legacy of character and faithfulness. As we delve into our discussion, let's reflect on how we can celebrate, connect, and contribute to God's mission.

The blessed don’t just admire God’s Word and walk away unchanged. They embody what they see and it reshapes how they live and who they serve.

Words shape worlds, but wisdom begins in silence; God's transformative truth takes root in hearts stilled by listening, not stirred by anger.

Every temptation falsely promises a birth, but delivers death. God offers us genuine rebirth through truth, making us the first examples of His new creation.

In God's kingdom, status symbols wither like flowers in the desert sun. What the world calls 'success' often fails God's prosperity test.

Wisdom isn't just knowledge; it's skill for living. A double-minded person receives nothing because they're trying to travel two roads at once.

Trials aren't roadblocks—they're the road to maturity. Like a refiner's fire, they burn away impurities, leaving only what's authentic and valuable in your faith.

In our current series, we'll uncover how the book of Acts serves not just as a collection of inspiring historical moments, but as an invitation to embrace a new life.

God addresses the world’s biggest problems by giving vision and forming relationships in order for new realities to emerge.

When we step out in faith and pray, God does still heal today.

Saul’s transformation reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach, and Ananias shows us that everyone has a role to play in the story.

By being open to unexpected detours, we can follow the Spirit’s leading into unexpected encounters that result in unexpected family.

Stephen models the courage to be a faithful witness of King Jesus in a hostile culture.

As the Holy Spirit empowers signs and wonders among us, we bear witness to our surrounding culture of the new life available in Jesus.

The Spirit empowers us to boldly proclaim the priorities of Jesus and wait expectantly for God to move.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to see the needs of those around us so that we can pastor them by offering what we’ve received.

The gospel is the good news that Jesus is King, and it requires a life-altering response.

The Holy Spirit is the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise and central to the life of a follower of Jesus and to the church.

In our seasons of waiting, followers of Jesus turn to Prayer, Scripture, and Community.

Mission is the logical response to Jesus’ ascension and promise to send the Holy Spirit.

This past Sunday was a Worship Experience Sunday, which means our only aim was to spend time adoring our God and King. Let’s look deeper into the Scriptures used as the foundation for our Worship Experience and end our group time with a call to fast and pray this week.

He has risen.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

On Palm Sunday, the way of the Lamb reveals Jesus as the King of peace, and calls us to follow as a nation of priests.

We can find hope in the midst of our chaotic world as we look to the power of the Lion, the sacrifice of the Lamb, and the sovereignty of God’s plan
