Catch the Rising Stars: A New York Mets Retro Podcast

This week, manager Davey Johnson and pitcher Ed Lynch have a throw down.  The Mets win an 18-inning, 5+ hour marathon.  And over in the Bronx, the Boss fires Yogi and hires Billy (again!).  

It’s the second week of the season and the Mets road-trip in Pennsylvania with stops in Pittsburgh, where fan turnout is real low and Philadelphia, where they face off with an old friend in Jerry Koosman.  But the real drama of the week is between Davey Johnson and Doug Sisk over the latter’s mutiny!  Check it out!
