A24's The Smashing Machine Movie Review - Dwayne Johnson tries his hand at some actual acting in this true story about UFC champion, Mark Kerr. Emily Blunt joins him for some outside the ring fights. I went into The Smashing Machine, hoping for another powerful story like we got with A24's other film, The Iron Claw. Unfortunately, this is a much simpler, less emotional story. Not a bad movie but i...

The Strangers: Chapter 2 Movie Review - The dumb continues with The Strangers: Chapter 2. The movie starts up right after the events of the first film. The 90 minute movie offers almost nothing in terms of plot progression. A little backstory for the villains and nothing more. The cat-and-mouse approach has already run very thin and I can't comprehend how The Strangers was given a full trilogy for...

One Battle After Another Movie Review - Paul Thomas Anderson teams up with Leonardo DiCaprio for a "must-watch" IMAX feature. One Battle After Another is a wild ride full of interesting commentary, some good laughs and an off-beat script that keeps you engaged from front to back. Learn more about your ad choices. The Alien: Earth finale is here! I made it to the end of this mess of a show and the finale made all my previous criticisms feel warranted all the more. Alien: Earth was terrible. The final episode of the season does a great job showcasing just why that is. Here's my spoiler-filled breakdown of all the Alien: Earth lows. Learn more about your ad choices. Him Movie Review - HIM attempts to make football scary with a surreal, mind-bending story. If only that story was as clever as the film thinks it is. Some great visuals and a banger score unfortunately can't carry HIM to the finish line. This movie unfortunately, is not the GOAT. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Ice Road: Vengeance Movie Review - There is somehow a second Ice Road movie with Liam Neeson. Naturally it's trending #1 on Netflix because nothing in this world makes sense. Well I gave it a watch and oh man, it's certainly an Ice Road movie. Ironically, an Ice Road movie with no ice road or big trucks. It's also just awful. Learn more about your ad choices. Spinal Tap II: The End Continues Movie Review - The team that brought us the first film, This Is Spinal Tap, returns for the sequel. A movie that has taken 41 years to get out! The big question now though is, was it worth the wait? I answer that question in a spoiler-free review! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Long Walk Movie Review - Stephen King gets another book adaptation on the big screen with The Long Walk. The director of the Hunger Games films finds himself in familiar territory here but with a more grounded premise. One that sadly doesn't seem like an all too extreme reality. I found the film to be bleak yet inspiring, with a great group of characters to spend a couple of brutal hours with....

Unknown Number: The High School Catfish Movie Review - I checked out the new Netflix documentary about the teenage girl (Lauryn Licari) that was catfished by a stranger for 2 years. Lauryn received terrible messages, often teasing her appearance and relationship with her boyfriend, Owen McKenny. High School was miserable for these two, as they couldn't escape the constant barrage of cyberbullying....

Jurassic World has gone off the rails. Jurassic World: Rebirth was awful and doesn't move the franchise forward in a positive way. I come up with a few ideas that could potentially save the Jurassic World franchise. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Alien: Earth Episode 5 Review + Spoiler Recap. I breakdown all the big moments from Alien: Earth Episode 5 - In Space, No One... This was easily the best episode of the Alien: Earth season but I have a feeling it will be a 1 and done situation, with the rest of the season going back to the terrible Lost Boys, synthetic storyline. We shall see but at least we got one kinda cool Alien episode. Learn...

Caught Stealing Movie Review - Austin Butler and a cat star in Caught Stealing. A new frantic moving film from Darren Aronofsky that seems a bit closer to something Guy Ritchie would make. The plot beats are pretty obvious but the movie runs smooth, has some fun characters and a few shocking moments to keep you engaged. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Roses Movie Review - The Roses is a new romantic comedy with a bit of an edge to it. Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch are a perfect duo here. Effortlessly exchanging brutal insult after insult. Director Jay Roach navigates the chaos with ease, showcasing his talent in the comedy space. The Roses is a very easy/fun watch that many couples will be able to relate to. Learn more about your a...

Eden Movie Review - Sydney Sweeney, Ana De Armas and Vanessa Kirby star in a new film, loosely based on true events. I was worried going into this due to some bad early buzz but I have to tell you, I had a good time watching the backstabbing and dramatic characters play their game of cat and mouse. Americana Movie Review - The hot actress from those American Eagle ads stars in a new, quirky western. Joining her is the pop singer Halsey along with a rag-tag group of characters, on the hunter for an expensive Lakota shirt. This movie moves well, has an interesting premise and goes in a few wild directions. I found Americana to be a pleasant, engaging watch. Learn more about your ad choices. Vi...
