I can prevail, because JESUS prevailed! The enemy tries to destroy us with pressure. Jesus tries to grow us with pressure. The pressure and crushing that comes into our lives has two agendas. One is of heaven, and one is of hell. We have to choose which one we agree with. JESUS IS the RESURRECTION! [John 11:25-27] https://theroads.church

If we know something is the will of God, and we are releasing our faith to receive it and bring it into our lives, we have to BE PREPARED - STEP # 3 IS COMING! It's called "Resistance." There is an enemy that does not want us to have what the will of God is for our lives. We have to be determined to "OVERCOME OPPOSITION." Be strong! And of Good Courage! Do not fear, nor be afraid. The Lord your Go...

"when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved - shaken; vibrated, agitated, created a commotion. Jesus wants to come and shake up things in our lives, and flip upside down "normal." When we come into contact with JESUS . . . One encounter with Jesus can change everything! It has the power to change our "normal" way of doing things. We are a new creation in Christ! Shake us. Move and agi...

KEY # 2 - Believe the will of God, and have faith enough to be moved to action! Do we believe enough that it moves us to action? If we are going to receive (lambano) what God has for us, His promises for our lives, it's going to require us to 1) Know what the will of God is and 2) believe it so much that my actions change - the way I talk, the way I believe, the way I act. "And since we have the s...

". . . 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐘 these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them." Deut 31:3 God destroyed the works of the devil, and we are to take possession by driving out the previous tenant to put out of occupancy and reoccupy. The Enemy's authority has been taken away, so that we can drive our enemies out and once we have driven them out - we reoccupy with the things of God. 𝐊𝐄𝐘 # 𝟏 - 𝐊𝐍...

Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Do you see this woman?" Church, do we see the value of people? The value of the lost sheep the way that God sees them from Heaven? In a way that moves us to action to take the gospel to them? We can believe the truth that Jesus died for all of us, but does that truth move us to a point that we show and share the truth with everyone? How many people do you pass in the co...

Our highest priority at The Roads Church is the presence of God, and sometimes it looks very different than the traditional service schedule, and the prepared sermon. And what we know - it's all about Him, and when we make it all about Him, we get to connect people with Jesus from all roads of life. God wants to remind you of your authority, and that the enemy doesn't have a right in your life, without your permission. The only way the enemy gets a seat in your life, is if you pull out a chair for him, by agreeing with him instead of agreeing with God. Where have you given up your seat, and let the enemy have a place in your life? 3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will d...

It was God's plan from the beginning " . . . for them to take dominion . . . " And to " . . . fill the earth and subdue it . . . " God knew there was an enemy in the garden, and gave Adam and Eve to dispossess the enemy. Why didn't God just kick the enemy out of the garden? There is a responsibility on God's side that the people COULD NOT DO without Him, and there's a responsibility on the people'...

God's Word is FIRE & like a HAMMER! What Word has God given you that you are standing on? For your circumstance? For your breakthrough? His Word is active, and it produces things in us and through us. "Is not my word like a fire?" says the Lord, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" Jeremiah 23:29 James 1:21–24, James 1:2–4, Romans 10:17, Jeremiah 23:29, Exodus 3:2–4 https://theroads...

Cross OVER! Drive Out! Take Possession! & Occupy! God instructed Israel how they would move into the Promised Land dependant on Him. God would destroy the enemy that was bigger and stronger than them, AND then the Israelites were to "dispossess" them in cooperation with God. God wants us to possess our Promised Land. Our Promised Land is becoming like JESUS! Our enemy is anything in our life that...

Do you need to "dispossess" some things in 2024? As believers, we have an inheritance, and Jesus has already destroyed and disarmed the enemy, so we can take possession of our inheritance. Sometimes though, we don't know what we've inherited, or we don't possess our inheritance, and sometimes, we let the devil with his lies move into our hearts and live with us. Are you ready to have victory and t...

2024 is going to start with a choice! A choice to serve what you believe, and not what you feel. No one can choose for you. You must choose for YOURSELF. It's time to make a decision! Are you going to fear the Lord? Are you going to serve Him in sincerity and truth? Are you going to put away some things that are distracting you from serving Him? Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve....

According to Jesus, Holy Spirit came to # 1 Guide us into all truth and # 2 Take of what is Jesus' and declare it to us. When we pray in the spirit/in tongues, we are downloading and speaking the hidden wisdom and mysteries of God, as Holy Spirit hears them from the Father and the Son and declares them to us. So, when we pray in tongues, Holy Spirit is communicating things we cannot know in the na...

It's the season of gift-giving, and there is a gift, according to the Bible that Jesus wants to give ALL of us. HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS GIFT? WILL WE RECEIVE IT? There is a baptism in Holy Spirit that Jesus wants to give you. It's free! It is an invitation to receive more of what Jesus wants to give you. 13 And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send men to...

Our mouths were created to praise the Lord, to preach the gospel, to speak His Word and to give life. Jesus is purifying the mouth of His bride. He has a purpose for our mouth, and we must constantly allow Him to purify our hearts, because the words of our mouth are an issue of our heart. Your words are so powerful. Five words or less can change a life - either building up or tearing down. "Death...

They were ALL with ONE ACCORD. In ONE PLACE for 7 to 10 days. PRAYING - for the Promise from the Father. And flames of fire set upon EACH OF THEM. They were ALL FILLED with HOLY SPIRIT. And began to SPEAK with other TONGUES. Jesus came to baptize you in Holy Spirit. Believe that the flame of fire on your neighbors head is also on your head, receiving your own individual encounter with Holy Spirit,...

“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” - Paul “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” - Disciples in Ephesus And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. It is possible to be a believer and a disciple and not have heard about Holy Spirit. Have you heard? If you are a disciple of Jesus (mathētē...

If we are Christians, what are we supposed to be doing? We are to be conformed to the image of JESUS! Growing & becoming more like JESUS! Too often our spiritual motivation is comparing ourselves to others, which can sound something like, "I'm not as bad as . . . " When we look at JESUS, we should always see room to grow. It's what christianity is about - constantly look at JESUS to become like JE...

Sowing & Reaping - it's a universal law of the Kingdom of God. There is SEED & TIME - TIME - TIME & HARVEST. We must sow into the things of God. If your mind if full of the wrong things, you must begin to plant things that will produce a different result. The things of God are the only things that will matter in eternity. It's time to get your mind full of the things of God. It's time to be a disc...

Church, we have revelation knowledge from God through Holy Spirit. He speaks what the Father & Son say to your spirit (revelation knowledge) - not to your brain (rational knowledge). It is how God builds us up beyond our own reasoning. 𝐇𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐇𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Rationally minded = DEATH Spiritually minded = LIFE & PEACE We must intentionally set our minds on the things of God. What we focus on, what we set our minds on will be how we live. If we set our minds on the things of the flesh, it will be lead by the flesh. If we set our minds on the things of the spirit, it will be in obedience to live by the spirit. Rational knowledge alone is not going to cut...

Who is Jesus to you? In your heart? What has God spoken to YOU? Knowing & hearing God for yourself is "Personal Revelation Knowledge." Not based on what your parents say, what your spouse says, what your church says - that's called rational knowledge. The Church needs to be careful to not be lead by rational, intellectual knowledge - what others say. It is more important than ever for us to be bui...

GET READY! WE NEED OIL! We must discipline our lives in this hour. We have to make sure our vessels are full of oil and sustain the oil to sustain the flame, which means we must be full of His presence and devoted to Him. HE'S COMING! WALK IN HIM! We cannot be deceived in this hour into thinking and believing that we don't need the oil in our vessels. It's the lie that keeps us comfortable, compro...

How are we building with Jesus as He builds His Church? Jesus is our foundation, and we don't ever stop building on Him. Every single one of us is either planting and water every day FOR God or NOT for God. Eternity is coming, and when we stand before Jesus, when the fire comes, will what we built endure? For each Christian there will be rewards based on our own individual labor. There is an indiv...
