The Generations Radio Program

We may appreciate the trivium, or a careful study of history, or the great literature . . . but is it a Christ-centered history or a man-centered history? Is it pagan literature, or Christian literature? These are extremely critical questions with which Christian parents must grapple. Their children’s souls are at stake in regards to these matters. Here are some cautionary notes concerning classic...

We’re currently witnessing the breakdown of Europe in our day. Islam is taking over, and the goal, as defined by France’s president, is to eliminate religion completely. Many European countries are significantly post-Christian, and America is starting to follow. Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus compare European and American politics on this edition of the program.

Homeschooling has expanded exponentially in the nation of South Africa where almost everything else has broken down. The enemy is responding by extending state control over the one thing that is working. How will Christian homeschoolers and Christian schools respond to added state regulations of this growing movement?

Another pastor in Dallas is removed from his position because of an “inappropriate relationship.” One blogster counts 16 scandals in Dallas churches just this year, including 4-5 high profiles. What is the Spirit saying to the churches? Where are the honest confessions, the humble repentances, and the churches still with some integrity to them? When it comes to inappropriate relationships, what do...

Ray Ortlund and the leftist side of evangelicalism is sometimes Kamala Harris, but never Trump. Everybody picks their ethical systems and a basis by which to judge one thing as better than the others. That’s why evangelicals are going for Kamala Harris . . . wrong ethical system.

THE FORGE , the newest Christian movie from the Kendrick Brothers, is a  powerful  illustration and reminder that discipleship matters! Guest host  Adam McManus  interviews  Alex Kendrick ,  the co-writer and director of the film, which has already made $27 million domestically since August 23rd. At its height, THE FORGE was shown in 1,900 theaters. When Kamala Harris  was asked on the Oprah Winfrey    infomercial whether she would secure the border  if elected as president, she said two things. As California Attorney General, she prosecuted transnational groups for the trafficking of guns, drugs, and human beings. As Vice President, she advocated for the passage of the Biden Border Bill which would have placed 1,500 additional Border Patrol...

In the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, there were three lies told about abortion. Guest host  Adam McManus  addresses all three with  Sue Liebel , the State Affairs Director for  Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Plus, you’ll hear the audio clips of all three. LIE #1: Abortions don’t happen in the ninth month of pregnancy. Kamala Harris falsely claimed, “Nowhere...

Guest host Adam McManus talks with Michael Letts , a former law enforcement officer who worked wi...

Relationship. Discipleship. Families being together, being nurtured, even in the midst of some of the most difficult times in recent history. This is what we see in families across the world who are discipling their children in the midst of war and government opposition. They provide a shining light of home education compared to the backdrop of brokenness, decimation, and isolation of the post-Chr...

On this edition of the program, Kevin Swanson discusses the history of Christian homeschool organizations and the ideology of home education with Brian Ray. Is it the state's responsibility to fund the education of our children, or is this the job of the family?

The media has always had a tremendous impact on the formation of public opinion . . . but it at least tried to be unbiased in its reporting in times past. So what do we do when it becomes as blatantly biased as it is today? Is there an objective, absolute standard to use when interpreting the events around us? Or is it the one who yells “Heretic!” the loudest who wins in the end? We review some of...

Ideas have consequences. The Peter Thiels of the world are far more influential in the Republican party than they were 20 years ago, and are setting a new direction for “conservatives.” As we approach the 2024 elections, the major worldviews need to be identified if we’re going to understand the ramifications of the philosophies governing our country today. On this edition of the program, we exami...

There are many ways charitable endeavors can go dreadfully wrong when ministering in third-world nations. Here is a helpful guide to being sure that all helping helps when seeking to help others—based on extensive mission field experience. Jesus is very concerned that we reach out to the “least of these” His brothers. How do we help them?

The current apostasy has yielded more faith lapses and a new movement called faith deconstruction. Nothing new to see here, just the same old Western apostasy. We provide four causes or excuses attending the faith deconstruction of the present age. The hatred and vitriol are typically poured out upon the church as an institution. Here is the antidote to an age of doubt and faithlessness.

Did Jesus really mean it when He prescribed the millstone treatment for those who stumble little ones? It is one of the most severe judgements we find in Scripture, and it should cause us to sit up and pay attention. Bill Jack and Kevin Swanson discuss whether Christian children should be sent to school to be missionaries. Are children more likely to influence or be influenced?

The anti-Trump evangelicals sign a statement in which they advise love, but not fear. What they are calling for is revival without repentance, love without law, and certainly a complete absence of the fear of God. So what can you do when you find yourself living in a world where almost nobody fears God?

Two worldviews are fighting it out for the next election. But will a sexually-anarchical billionaire save our civilization from a childless cat lady? This is really the question we are grappling with . . . sort of . . . on this edition of the program. The foundations of a civilization are destroyed, and neither worldview has much interest in laying new concrete. The opportunity for rebuilding is s...

Egypt was at the zenith of its power, having conquered lands far into the north and the east, well into the Mesopotamian valley. The great empire set its magicians and its power against the people of God and paid the price. The most outstanding miracle of the Old Testament era took place at the Red Sea, and the prostitute at Jericho was still talking about it 40 years later, as well as the witchdo...

Turns out that finding a job in today's market has been harder for those who have attained a bachelor's degree. Since 1980, the price of a college education has risen at 1300 percent, while the CPI has risen about 150 percent. College debt has gone from $300 billion to $1.75 trillion since 2004 in 20 years. That’s a six-fold increase, with 85 percent of kids getting bachelors’ degrees gr...

Christians have been quite congratulatory of most feminist achievements, particularly with the Title IX egalitarian vision for college sports. But, much of sports has served as something of a metaphor for warfare and often preparatory to warfare. Women in violent sports and women in combat have worked their way into the norm . . . in fact, now American women are more successful in sports than men....

The family and the church have worked their way into obsolescence in the modern world—displaced by large institutions, age-segregated programs, and individuated and socialist systems. The church is not a YMCA. The church is not a pep talk. The church is not a group of families hanging out in some sort of a warm fellowship that we enjoy until people get in a conflict, and then it’s over. The church...

When you are at the extreme end of an empire, who do you vote for? The call gets tougher. Who will administer the fire sale when God’s judgment hangs over a nation? Be careful about pragmatism as a principle for life. Pro-lifers like Lila Rose are disillusioned. Russell Moore is disillusioned for other reasons, however misplaced. But Douglas Wilson and Al Mohler are still hanging in there for Trum...

The key to unravelling the complex mysteries of ancient Egyptian history is found in a biblical chronology. Finally, Christian researchers are aligning ancient histories and archeological finds with a rock-solid biblical historical record. In this new exchange with Kenneth Griffith, we point out the dynasties and Pharaohs that align with the biblical historical records of Joseph, Moses, and the Ex...
