Oso Creek Church

This morning Pastor Greg continues our series on the Power of a Godly vision by unpacking the next 3 gates of the city of Jerusalem that needed work in Nehemiah 3. These gates were very important for safety and health of the people of Jerusalem, and they represent vital aspects that need to be in every believer's life. We will talk about the Dung Gate, Fountain Gate, and Water Gate this morning.

Thanks for joining us today. We have Youth Pastor Jonathan Stubbs filling in for Pastor Greg who is out on a mission trip to Equador this week. Today we will answer the question, what is required of us for Christ. Creek notes are available on our website under the Live-now tab

This week we take a little turn in our series about the Power of a Godly Vision and talk more about working together in Kingdom Work by looking at Nehemiah 3. God wants a church that is unified and working together. When we look at chapter 3 we see a list of workers that was very diverse, some did much, some did little, some used different talents and abilities, but the most important thing is tha...

We talk about our ‘vision playbook’ this morning in our series: Nehemiah-the Power of a Godly Vision. Every team has a playbook. Many businesses have a playbook for their employees. A playbook is nothing more than a plan or strategy. Listen along as we see how Nehemiah planned accordingly after he received his God-given vision to go and rebuild the walls and gates of Jerusalem.

Last week Pastor Greg talked about ‘the waiting game’, that time between when you feel God birthing a vision or burden in you but you do not know the ‘when’ nor the ‘how’ of the vision. This week we unpack the prayer that Nehemiah prayed during his waiting time and we learn a valuable prayer guide that we can utilize during our time of developing, character building, and dependence upon the Lord a...

Happy Father’s Day. Pastor Greg gives dads, grandads, foster dads, & spiritual dads (as well as all parents) Biblical instruction about what our kids desperately need. We learn this by unpacking the fatherly blessing the Israelite patriarch Isaac gave his son Jacob in Genesis 27. Who do we want affirming our kids? The world will happily step up and give them affirmation if we, and the church, do n...

Today join us as we look at how important the Word of God is.

Today we continue our new series about having a Godly vision for your life based on the vision or purpose that God gave Nehemiah in the Old Testament. Last week Pastor Greg spoke on the ‘where’ of a Godly vision; the means and methods that God uses to get a vision to us. This week Pastor Greg talks about the “how’ of a Godly vision and more specifically how to claim your Godly vision. We learn thi...

We take a deep dive into what a Godly vision is.

We unpack a story about a mom in the Old Testament in Genesis 16 this morning on Mother's Day. We see a mom named Hagar go through a lot of affliction simply because she became a mom. We often find ourselves like Hagar being afflicted by many situations in life and it makes us want to run away and hide in the wilderness like she did. Where was her hope? Where is our hope? We find out that all of o...

Join us this morning as we dig into God's pure calling in our life.

Today we learn a great lesson about expectation from the story of the lame beggar found in Acts 3:1-10. What are you expecting from God in your life, in your family, & in your church? Are you more like the people of Jesus' hometown in Matthew 13-53-38 where they did not expect anything from Jesus and they did not believe? Jesus was limited in His ministry there because of their unbelief. We talk a...

This morning Pastor Greg continues with the text from Acts 1:1-11 with a message about Christ's Ascension and Christ's return. Last week Pastor Greg unpacked the reason why Jesus ascended back into heaven. This week he talks about WHY Jesus is returning and WHO Jesus is returning for. We pray that you are blessed and encouraged and that you live with an expectancy of His return. Be sure to visit o...

Today Pastor Greg begins a 2 week message that unpacks the next 2 events on Christ's timeline after the Cross and the Resurrection. He uses Acts 1:1-11 and talks about the Ascension of Christ and the Return of Christ. We should get comfort, hope, and encouragement from the Ascension and Return of Christ Be sure to visit our website at https://www.osocreek.org/live-stream

Christ is Risen!! We celebrate Jesus this morning and all that He accomplished. The Apostle Paul talks in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 about how Christ appeared to many of His followers and eve Paul Himself after the Resurrection. Today Pastor Greg speaks about this in 'the Great Appearance'. We pray that you are blessed and feel God's presence in our online service. Thank you for joining us and being wit...
