Knox Church

Happy Reformation Day! Last night, we gathered for an incredible evening of worship and fellowship as we celebrated Reformation Day! We were blessed to be joined by other churches in our city, coming together to worship God and deepen our understanding of the 5 Solas. Together, we proclaimed Soli Deo Gloria—“Glory to God Alone”—remembering that all we do is for His glory. 🙌🏼 If you were not able...

This month, we’re celebrating 507 years since the start of the Protestant Reformation. Over the next two Sundays (Oct 27 & Nov 3), Knox Church will explore key doctrines recovered by this movement. We’ll be diving into the book of 1 John, starting this Sunday with the theme: “What does it mean to walk in the light?” One of the Reformation’s mottos was “Post Tenebras Lux”—“After Darkness, Light...

Today, we are talking about Satisfaction. We tend to seek contentment and satisfaction in many places, but why does satisfaction seem to be so ephemeral and transitory? The Bible promises eternal satisfaction for those who follow Jesus. So, why many christians don’t experience this everlasting joy and satisfaction? We hope you enjoy it! This Sunday, we are talking again about the love of God. Many of us know that God so loved the world that he gave us his only Son, but the question we often don’t ask is: Was the Son Jesus given to us as what? What is His role? Israel was expecting the Messiah to come as a militant and revolutionary king. Many today want a Jesus of their own fashion, and we think that if God loves us, he will give...

This week, we are dealing with one of the most famous verses in the Bible, John 3:16. Sometimes, we fail to fully understand this verse because we approach it with pre-conceived ideas about the love of God. So, today, our goal is to enrich and enlarge your ideas about the love of God. Also, some people think these verses are the final debunk against Reformed Theology, so we will explore that and u...

This week, we are back to our series in the gospel of John! For the next two weeks, we will be studying John 3, a very famous biblical text. In this text, Jesus speaks to a religious leader and challenges his understanding of the kingdom of God. To see and enter the kingdom of God, you must be born again. But what EXACTLY means to be born again? I hope the sermon is edifying to you! For more info,...

Today, we are wrapping up our summer series in the book of Revelation! We have three more weeks to go on our Revelation series. This Sunday, we are dealing with the topic of “reputation without substance.” We live in a day and age in which people are more concerned about what people will think about them and how they look than they are concerned about truly being someone. The appearance became more important than the substance. When this problem invades the church, w...

This last Sunday, we celebrated one year of existence as a local church. And amidst an incredible celebration, we reflected on what we should be investing our lives in, if we are truly building our lives upon wisdom. I hope the sermon is edifying to you! For more info

Tolerance, in the last decade or so, has gained a new meaning and become an ultimate virtue that trumps all other virtues. The whole problem with this redefinition is not only the ethical and political issues that come with it, but most importantly, it causes problems in the church and takes into a path that dishonours God and goes against Jesus' plan and desires for His church. Do you find th...

Christians, alongside wider society, have abandoned the conviction that truth can be found. And for the sake of “unity” and “love,” we became tolerant of lies without remembering Satan is the father of lies. Jesus calls his church to repent and to know, believe and live by the truth! Tune in to gain fresh insights and deepen your understanding of Revelation. For more sermons and information about...

Today, we continue our series in the book of Revelation. We are now delving into the letters Jesus sent to the seven churches in Asia. Tune in to gain fresh insights and deepen your understanding of Revelation...

A.W. Tozer, an American pastor, in his famous book "The Knowledge of the Holy," said: "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." And the book of Revelation is meant to correct or amplify our understanding of who God is, what he did, is doing and will do. However, this revelation is foundational in making us who we are. Tune in to g...
