pgm 562 Solo Concerts: Bremen and Lausanne Originally released as a three-LP set, the two solo piano recitals feature Jarrett freely improvising and never seeming to run out of ideas. A simple figure often develops through repetition and subtle variations into a rather complex sequence and eventually evolves into a new figure. One of the improvisations lasts for three LP sides (64 minutes), while...

pgm 552 Musically it is the culmination of the preceding records. More focused, less wild, but still smouldering with intensity. Most importantly, it is a conscious effort on Cave's part to inject more of himself into the subject matter of the lyrics and rely less heavily on stepping into the shoes of various characters. Most of his work is inward looking, but Let Love In is notably personal.

pgm 544 The great orchestra conductor and composer, Leonard Bernstein, never got over this one fact: that his great accomplishment in composition was not one of his later classical opuses but rather the music score to a Broadway play. But, it's true, and this musical score is as close to perfection as any. The Hollywood treatment, replacing good Broadway voices with great operatic uncredited singe...

pgm 539 This album is sometimes credited to Ash Ra Tempel but the music was composed and performed by Gottsching alone. All sounds were created with guitar, but Gottsching's use of echo, delay, and assorted treatments give these pieces the flavor of sequenced synthesizer music, occasionally reminiscent of Tangerine Dream's work from the period.
