Coach Jerry Weems joined Coach Kris Herron to kick off the week with a weekend review, including his brief stint filling in on play-by-play duties. The first Herron’s Hog of the Week, presented by Blair Family Farm & Market, went to Clay Central Volunteer offensive lineman Noah Peterson. The Bone, Heath Stroud, also dropped by to share his perspective on the weekend.

The Barber, David Nolen, fired the crew up on game day in Clay County! Dave revisited what game day prep looks like for a play-by-play guy, while Ole’ #54 stopped in to talk tin removal and salad dressing. The conversation also took a nostalgic turn with memories from a 1977 church pictorial directory and wrapped with an Alabama day trips bucket list.

Get Up with Giddens! Coach Steve Giddens joined Coach Kris Herron on Coach & Friends . They talked about how much energy they start their day with and reminded everyone that calories are energy. The Good Doctor stopped by with milk to go with their oatmeal crème pies, and Handyman started a conversation about old Lineville Aggie Mark Pettus.

Taylor Time! Rusty Taylor was along for the ride on  Coach & Friends.  The guys marveled at the pretty pink clouds and recapped the start of a memorable Braves road trip. The Dog delivered the sausage and cheese biscuits that Coach Shortt raved about. They also dove into the top stories from an extra-thick edition of The Clay Times Journal.

Shortt Tuesday! Coach Michael Shortt joined Coach Kris Herron on Coach and Friends . He shared a weekend update and talked high school jamboree action, grass cutting, and storm watching from Mt. Cheaha. The guys also discussed the “goodness of the biscuit,” and Coach Shortt hoped someone remembers him next Tuesday.
