Bible Time with Charlie

People often step into the New Year expecting their lives to magically change, however, I've got some news for you... If you don't change, your life will most certainly not change. I encourage you this year that if you make a commitment to change -- whether it be changing your diet, changing your career, changing your attitude, changing your relationship with God -- really commit to that choice an...

It's the most wonderful time of the year: Christmas. Christmas is a time to celebrate the Anointed One! As families gather around the Christmas Tree and tell their children stories about good Ol' St. Nick, believers everywhere should be acknowledging the true reason for the season... Jesus. Today, we dive into Old Testament prophecy concerning the Messiah and how it was fulfilled in the New Testam...

God has placed into each and every single one of our hearts a DREAM and a VISION that is supposed to ultimately glorify Him. I'm here to tell you today that your dream can come TRUE if you would just follow God's lead! In the book of Genesis, Joseph had a dream, and even when all the odds were against him, his dream still came true because he faithfully served the Lord. I encourage you today to ke...

Christians these days are committing idolatry without even realizing it. Just like the Israelites turned their back on God and turned towards false idols, Christians today turn from God and put their faith in other things such as New Age practices involving psychics, tarot cards, witchcraft, and myths... and they think it's harmless. Catholics pray to the Blessed Mother and put their faith in cand...

Jesus said, "as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man" (Matthew 24:37), and let me tell you folks -- we are living in the days of Noah. This world has never been so wicked, so twisted, as it is today, and we see it all over the place. It's almost impossible NOT to see it. From the government, to entertainment, to the educational system, and even to the church --...

We are living in a time where people will HATE you just for being a Christian -- and especially a Christian who tells the Truth. The Truth isn't very popular these days... a lot of churches don't even preach it in fear they will lose attendance and offerings. The truth is, we need to stop being afraid of people and how they may feel about us. Jesus straight up tells us in John chapter 15 that the...

In a world filled with lies, confusion, and deception, it can be very hard to figure out who to trust. The truth is, if we stop trusting in people and start trusting in God, things will begin to make a lot more sense. Romans 3:4 says, "Let God be true, and every human being a liar." We have to be very careful who we are putting our trust in -- whether it be our friends, teachers, leaders, spouse,...

Too often we hear Christians and Non-Christians ask the question, "why does God allow bad things to happen?" We may never know why certain things happen in our lives -- it could be to teach us, it could be to save us, and it could be because we let it happen without even realizing it. Today, we dive into a few reasons as to why bad things could be allowed to happen in your life, and how you could...

God preserves those, He PROTECTS those, who are true to Him. We are living in a time where we don't know what will happen when we walk out of the house in the morning, and that is why it is VERY IMPORTANT in times like these to know your rights as a Christian! It is important to know and understand that GOD WILL PROTECT YOU. Today, we dive into some key scripture that I encourage everyone to read...

Halloween stems from a pagan holiday called Samhain, a day where unbelievers gathered together to summon the "Otherworld". During this celebration, pagans would offer up human sacrifices to their gods and drink the blood of babies. Many of the activities we partake in on Halloween -- such as pumpkin carvings, costumes, trick-or-treating -- are all emulations of how these pagans celebrated in the p...

It's very important to make sure you're hanging around the right crowd! The old saying is true... You are who your friends are. If you're hanging around the wrong people, chances are, you'll become like them. If you're hanging around the right people, chances are, you'll become like them. Hang around the right people and stay on the right path! Today, we talk about Samson and how he was doing real...

You'll hear many people say that miracles don't happen today. You'll hear them say that God is no longer "in the miracle business". These things couldn't be farther from the truth. God WANTS us to receive our healing TODAY! He gave us His Word so that we can be healed, and He sent His Son to die FOR US so that we could be healed. Jesus healed the sick, and in 1 John 4:17 it says, "as He is, so are...

It's Harvest time and God WANTS to bless you! So many of us wonder if we are worthy to receive all that God has in store for us; all that HE has promised in His Word. The answer is: yes, we are worthy to receive everything He has for us and more! All we have to do is fully obey HIM and do our best to stay on the path that He has for us. Even if you've strayed off of His path, like the prodigal son...

In this episode of "Bible Time with Charlie", we talk about how David -- who was known to be a 'man after God's own heart' -- even he fell because of temptation. In life, just when we think we are doing well and are following God's path for us, we must be careful that we don't become prideful and think we can get away with things just because we think we're so great. You will not get away with it....

In this episode, we talk about what God says about you. He sees you as precious and valuable in His sight. It is important for us to remember that, especially when we make decisions that de-value us. Every time we think of engaging in sin, particularly sin against our own bodies, we should remember just how valuable we are, and that if we are God's treasure, we ought to treat ourselves like we are...

In today's episode, we talk about how David faced Goliath head on, without even looking back. David had faith that God would deliver him from this giant because he remembered all of the things that God had delivered him from in the past. He thought that if God could save him from ferocious beasts such as lions and bears, he could surely save him from this uncircumcised Philistine. Whenever you fin...

Many of us will face circumstances in our life that we might consider challenges or "giants". Those "giants" could be sickness, depression, anxiety, lust, anger... It is up to us to get into God's Word and FACE those giants with the power that we received from Him when we were born again. It's time to speak to those giants and tell them to leave in Jesus's name! Today we dive into the book of Numb...

In this episode, we talk about Jonah and how he didn't want to listen to what God told him to do. In fact, he went as far as to run away from God, only to finally end up obeying him in the end after he had gone through hell. We, like Jonah, sometimes run when God tells us to do something, however no matter where or how we hide, God is still waiting for us to accomplish what he set us out to do. It...

Today, we dive into the story of the prophet Samuel anointing David as King. David was the least likely out of all his brother to become the next King of Israel, yet God had a plan for him to prosper. We may think we are the least likely candidate to do anything in life, however God placed a dream in us for a reason, and if we follow His path for us, those dreams will come true like we never even...
