Your Daily Prayer

Fear. Just the sound of the word can strike a chord. That’s because it is such a powerful force. It can either drive us closer to God or cause us to drift away as we clumsily seek comfort and any source of calm. - Alicia Searl SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devotional Your Daily Bible Verse: https://www.lifeaudio.com/your-daily-bible...

Take time to rest, restore, and relax. Prioritize family meals around the table, slow Saturday morning coffee on your back porch bird watching, and make space for friends to hang out and enjoy God’s good gift of companionship as we find our satisfaction in the Lord and His blessings. - Laura Bailey SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devo...

Friend, keep leaning on the Lord. He is there, offering comfort and, in time, lifting you up. But when you are barely hanging on and need reinforced support, God will also encourage you through your sharing and connecting with your people—his people that he shines in and through just for you, his beloved. - Keri Eichberger SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lif...

Long-lasting freedom requires citizens to practice ongoing gratitude. Without continual appreciation and recognition of the efforts that fostered freedom, a nation starts to lose widespread support for it, leading to coming generations being uninformed and misconstruing events that led to the establishment of a free nation. - Lynette Kittle SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotiona...

The word “hospitality” used in this verse comes from the Greek word meaning to be hospitable and to show love to strangers. Combine that with the readiness to help people in need, and we see the Body of Christ. Whether in our homes or out in the world, we show Jesus to others when we are gracious, generous, and genuine. - Megan Evans SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: http...

These days, humility seems to be almost a forgotten word. Amid America’s prosperity has emerged prideful worldliness, set on dragging even the most devout Christians down with it. - Lynette Kittle SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devotional Your Daily Bible Verse: https://www.lifeaudio.com/your-daily-bible-verse   Discover more Christi...

When we are feeling a lack of acceptance, we try to find acceptance in any way possible. As believers, we need to remember that our worth, value, and acceptance are in Jesus. Before the beginning of time, the Father has loved us and chosen us to be adopted as His children through Jesus. - Vivian Bricker SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk...

We cannot effectively walk forward while looking back. We cannot proceed ahead, when peering back to the past. We cannot easily win the prize for which God called us after getting slammed by a pole of defeat. Do not look back.  - Kelly Balarie SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devotional Your Daily Bible Verse: https://www.lifeaudio.com...

Remember that he is close, always. And little by little, you will be consoled and comforted. You will see him saving you. By the grace of God, I made it out again. I remember recently wondering if he’d ever save me from my sad self. But he was. And he did. He was working all along. Sitting beside me, allowing me to lean more and more on him. And he will do the same for you. - Keri Eichberger SUBSC...

Today, we are going to pray through a prayer to find belonging when you’re feeling alone. First and foremost, I want to share that belonging is only truly found in our identity in Christ. He gives us a true sense of security in Him. He created us, He knows us, and He has set us free.  - Emma Danzey SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devo...

Sometimes, we get moved to another part of the battlefield, and that’s okay. But at all times, we are called to forget ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow him. And that applies to our lives in Christian communities, not just privately. - Chris Eyte SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devotional Your Daily Bible Verse: https://www.lif...

Hardship is part of this life. It comes to those who know Christ and to those who do not. Difficulties do not favor one person over another, even though it may look like that sometimes. Because of Christ in us, we have the glorious opportunity to look at seasons of suffering through a different lens. - Jessica Van Roekel SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifea...

Created in God's image, we have emotions because He has emotions. The Word tells us not even one sparrow will fall to the ground outside of the Father’s care. And that we should not be afraid because we are of so much more value than the sparrows ( Matthew 10:29-31 ). He is watching every move made around you, and he will not let go of one of his children for a split second. You are always, always, always in the Father’s good care. The enemy wants us lost in fear so much that we can't enjoy the precious moments with the people around us. When these thoughts consume us, we must take them to the Lord. We must rebuke the enemy's lies and ask God to fill us with a peace that only He can provide. -Heidi Vegh SUBSCRIBE to our sister podcasts: The Crosswalk Devotional: https://www.lifeaudio.com/crosswalk-devotional Your Daily Bible...

God understands fatherhood. Even though He is the perfect, flawless Father, He’s experienced the sorrow that comes with having children who struggle with believing He truly loves and cares for them.
