WORST. COMIC. PODCAST. EVER!

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: Ms. Marvel made its debut on Disney+ last week, and we are all in on the adventures of Kamala Khan. We dive into the first episode and make some guesses for the upcoming season.  The fourth episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi reminded us of another Episode IV, as Obi-Wan leads a mission to rescue Princess Leia from an Imperial base. Guess what? Dar...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: Obi-Wan Kenobi is already at the halfway point of its season, and it continues to amaze us. Especially the return of Darth Vader. Longtime editor Joe Quesada announced this past week that he would be leaving Marvel Comics after...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: Obi-Wan Kenobi debuted on Disney+ over the holiday weekend with the first two episodes of the six-episode season. Seriously, if you did not like these episodes, we would kindly suggest you take a one-way Bantha ride through the Jundland Wastes...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: The Eisner nominations were announced this past week. A lot of great comics and creators have been recognized and, sadly, a lot of great comics and creators were not recognized (How do you leave out Tom Taylor?) We look at 52 #38 with the long final climb up the mountain for the Question. Seriously like 12 pages of going up the mountain. ...

Seriously, we would pay ful...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: We say thank you to a true titan of the comic book industry. Neal Adams passed away on April 28. So much of what we know in comics comes back to Adams' drawing table. Like Batman? The Batman you know started with Adams and Denny O'Neil. Like seeing creators get recognition for their characters on the silver screen? That credit goes to N...

If we mention any books that sound interesting, make sure to let you LCS know this week to o...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: As of earlier today, the Marvel Knights shows ( Daredevil, Jessica Jones , et al) that were once found on Netflix now have a new home on Disney+. What does that mean for your subscription, especially with the introduction of parental controls? (And let's be honest, our kids will probably have to tell us how to get those set up anyway.)  D...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: Did you go see The Batman last weekend? John and Jerry made it out to see the new take on the Dark Knight Detective. We offer our non-spoiler thoughts on the move with things we like (99%) or that we didn't like (what's up with the Penguin's car not having airbags?). We look at 52 #27, which is really, really dark. We weren't trying to co...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: We sit down with writer Jon Dexter to discuss the launch of his Alpha Dogs #2 Kickstarter . Continuing the story that was started in a previous Kickstarter, Alpha Dogs focuses around Buck, a dog with the heightened strength and intelligence, as well as the ability to heal from almost any wound. Unfortunately for Buck, there are a lot of h...

No worri...

On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. Seriously, we need more Ming-Na Wen in our lives.  We look at 52 #18, where Shadowpact is called in to assis...
