What Shall I Render

God spoke in the past in many parts and ways, but in these last days His message to us is found in His Son. It can really help us to see Him as our Faithful High Priest (Heb 1:1-2; 12:2).

We have confidence, confidence in the person and priesthood of Christ Jesus. We should encourage one another with this truth. (Heb 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10)

Sin makes slaves out of sinners, and what it uses as power over the sinners may surprise you!

All that we offer God, must come to God through Jesus, our merciful, faithful, and great, High Priest (Heb 5:1; 4:14; 10:21).

What happens in prayer helps us engage the work of God in Christ Jesus on our behalf.

God gives us opportunities in prayer. One of the biggest is confidence, not confidence in prayer, not confidence in self, confidence in the work of Christ and the faithfulness of our God!

David and Paul prayed for deliverance or protection from evil and violent men (Psa 140:1; 2 Thess 3:2).

Sometimes we get down, lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut, and sometimes when we get down our souls cleaves to the dust, there. It is then that we need to see the "wonderful things in God's word" (Psalm 119: 25, 18).

The freedom God gives us in Christ, sets us free from the frustration that condemnation would bring to us under law. (Gal 5:1; Rom 8:1-4)

All Israel was baptized into freedom, but many did not remain faithful. This serves as a warning for us (1 Cor 10:13).

God has graciously granted us, in Christ, what no sinful person can accomplish -- righteousness! (Gal 2:21-3:14)

"But what about you, " He asked. Who do you say I am ? (Matt 16:15)

Christ Jesus will keep you strong to the end. . . Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Cor 1:8; 15:58).

The former covenant is a shadow, a type, a mystery, the new covenant is the revelation, the truth, the reality. It is God's gift of eternal life / fellowship with man, revealed.

God has a glorious work and message to give the world in us, His children of the new covenant (2 Cor 3).

Finding freedom, fruitfulness, and peace in Christ.

Man was made in the image of God, but God has re-created us in Christ into a new relationship, a covenant relationship :)

1 Thess 2:7-8

In Christ, God has given us a love beyond our understanding and forgiveness that secures our journey.

God is the good Father, and in His house we find blessing, protection, purpose, and belonging.

What God has given us, in Christ Jesus, must remain in our minds and hearts. We must choose to continue to put our trust in Him and His work for us and in us!

The flesh would hold us captive to its desires, and sin would hold us as slaves by the power of law. Christ has redeemed us and set us free, we must continue trusting in Him.

A life of faith is a precious journey. It takes place in real life, all aspects of it!

God never commanded men to use human effort to clothe, cover, or redeem themselves. He calls us to find and remember what He has provided in these regards.

God gave the Law of Moses to show His people, Israel, the sinfulness of their sin and their subsequent need for Him. It never had the capacity to justify the sinner.
