What Shall I Render

God has prepared a place where there is peace, His peace, a peace powerful to guard your heart and mind!

This is the Day God has created, in His Son. It is a day of favor, a day of salvation, and we rejoice in it (2 Cor 6:2; Psa 118:24).

The world trusts in the mind of man, the mind of the flesh, but God has offered us the mind of Christ. This mind will guide us and guard us in the peace of God. This is our victory over this world (\1 Cor 2:10-16; Php 2:5; 4:6-7).

The resurrection of Christ to immortality is powerful proof of His identity, and it proves the power and value for our lives in Him!

The Passover is a powerful part of the story God has given about Himself. This part of the story will bless those willing to hear it. (Exod 12; Matt 5:17)

We cherish and tend what is of great value. What does the Bible tell us about the value of the thing we believe and our acts of believing?

Prayer is a powerful tool, when we consider what God has done to afford us access to Himself, and the peace of God is powerful result of it. (Php 4:6-7)

God's story is of His work and His power in the lives of people, people willing to hear His story and find His solution.

The humble seeking heart finds blessing in the study of God's word (Psalm 119:18)

Seeking the truth about Jesus will give us a mindset that can set our hearts at rest, because it puts our faith and hope in God!

We may think or feel as if we need to accomplish or wait on some great feat to be performed, but God has given us the word about His feat, His performance, to heal us! (Jer 15:18; Isa 53; Rom 10)

Seeking, knowing, and trusting Christ we find all we ever wanted!

All of God's promises are secure in Christ (2Cor 1:20), we are tempted to trust in the flesh or ourselves. There is no victory in self.

Paul warns the Philippians to watch out for false teaching which would offer false confidence. Confidence not in Christ but in the flesh (Php 3:1-3).

God's call for faith has never been about what is merely outward and physical. God's call is to our hearts.

God has never called for faith that is in man's flesh, man's accomplishments. The call of faith is to the heart (Php 3:1-6)

If we can listen to scripture first to understand, then we can see more clearly how to application.

The mindset formed by the gospel saves us from trusting ourselves and seeing others from a worldly point of view.

God has given us the gospel to direct our minds and secure our hearts on things above, not on earthly things (Php 3:17-21).

We can learn how to study so we can understand scripture correctly, but one of the best tools we can have is an open and willing heart (Matt 13:11-15).

How we listen to scripture will determine how we live, and if we reject the message of scripture, we can expect to lose what we thought we had (Luke 8:18; 10:25-29).

King Saul quit listening to God and became a tragic example of serving selfish interests instead of God (1 Sam 15).

Considering, remembering what we have in Christ works in us a mindset of surrender and security. (Php 2:1-11)
