Vortex Church | Sermon Audio

Sometimes it is easy to be prideful, but as Christ-followers, we should be living a life based on humility instead of pride. This week Pastor Kevin Simmons uses scripture in Philippians to teach us principles to follow when trying to live a humble life and also shows us how Jesus’s life set the example of living in humble obedience to God.

Join us as 5 of our Vortex Church Student leaders and students share for 5 minutes each on the topic of Hope out of Romans 8.

When you think of the word “work” what word comes to mind? Do you think work ties into fun? During this message, Pastor Kevin Simmons teaches us the importance of work and how we can view work as a platform to share Jesus with others.

In partnership with God, He has a part and we have a part. This week Pastor Kevin Simmons continues to use the book of Ezra to teach us how God uses prophetic voices to call us into obedience, work and partnership with Him. We must do our part and put faith over perfection!

Pastor Kevin Simmons shares a timely message on the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

In the world we live in, sometimes it is easy to fall into the temptation of putting our trust in promises, partnerships, or politicians and not into the King of Kings. This week Pastor Kevin Simmons continues teaching from the book of Ezra to show us how if we put our trust in the power of God supremely, anything God wills is possible.

God wants us to partner, not only with Him, but also with people. He designed us to live in community. This week Pastor Kevin Simmons uses the book of Ezra to show us how to live by faith, not fear, in trusting God to point us to life-giving partnerships with people.

Have you ever felt afraid? If you are reading this and you are human, the answer is probably yes. We are all going to feel fear in our lives. During this message, Pastor Kevin Simmons teaches us the importance of our response to fear and how we can live in partnership with God through faith.
