This May Hurt a Bit

Twin Peaks actors merge with the SNDN franchise to hunt down Bill Mosely as our new zombie Ricky.

It's finally Garbage Day! We still manage to talk for the same amount of time considering half of this film is recycled footage from Part 1.

Hey you Moon Goons, settle into the Christmas Season as we return to discuss the first of six "Silent Night, Deadly Night" films! Those concerned parents who had this pulled from the theater in 1984 can't tell you what to do now.

We break from format to talk about what we've been watching this horror season.

We take a look at the franchise as a whole. How did they progress? What's the best inciting incident? Best Kill? And of course- did John or James come closest in the Kill Count Prediction?

What happens when a studio exec decides that the FD films need to be more like "The Office"?

Finally, in 3D!

Thoughts on American politics post 9/11 and the Devil's testicles. Kind of hard hitting commentary here at "Hurt a Bit". And this series is most definitely Q Anon's favorite horror.

We welcome Dan McCoy from The FlopHouse Podcast! He joins us to discuss the funnier and more gruesome sequel in the series.

What happens when a premonition causes a Rift in Death's Design? Death catches up to you.  We make a big jump into the 2000s teen horror franchise, leaving our 80s credentials at the door.

And we're done. All 5 Phantasms. What was your favorite kill, favorite Reggie moment or makeup effect? What surprised you? And who won the Kill Count and takes home the Golden Scrimm?

18 years after part 4, those scrappy filmmakers pull everything they got into one last ride for a divisive yet full of heart final Phantasm film. This is the ending through Reggie's eyes.

Who knew- Phantasm 4 is really pretty good! Wanna know some Tall Man back story? Mike as traveling Goth? Tune in!

The driving continues as we follow Mike and (horndog) Reggie across Oregon in their pursuit of the Tall Man. We meet Tim and his Clown full of Knives and Rocky!

Musician Michael Holloway joins us to talk through this classic sequel. The Guy from Singles is now Mike! Reggie boogies down. Are the Lurkers actually Minions?  Find Michael's music including his self titled doom jazz project as well as industrial band Dead When I Found Her here: https://michaelarthurholloway.bandcamp.com/

We review "Phantasm" from 1979, directed by Don Coscarelli. Quite the about face from the Friday the 13th series!

We decided to release the full interview with local Crystal Lake Guru, Greg Bigoni! We cover his personal history with the series and more details on selling art to the cast. This will be our last episode on the "Friday the 13th" series as we gear up for our examination of "Phantasm" next!

Having finished up the series, we take a look back! Favorite Kills. Favorite Final Girl. How did it shift and change, likes and dislikes. With special guest and long time Crystal Lake Guru and illustrator-  Greg Bigoni! Hear his tales of the cast and filmmakers finding and purchasing his work. You can find Greg's art here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/gregbigoniart/

You want more blood? More nudity? More Hard Core everything? Let's revisit the remake!

We finally make it to space. Join us in our long conversation where James mainly complains about all the "Aliens" rip offs.  Also, find below  the link to purchase your own Fight like a Final Girl T - shirt, all proceeds going to abortion rights organizations.  https://poltergeistsandparamours.com/collections/fight-like-a-final-girl?page=1

Before we can go to Space, first we must go to HELL.

Jump on the boat and let's head from Crystal Lake right to New York City!

It's Kane Hodder's first appearance in Jason vs Carrie! Will this inventive take breathe new life into Jason's corpse?

You screamed when he wasn't in the 5th film, so they brought him back. With some laughs!

Do you want your Jason movies to be trashier and full of yelling? This one's for YOU!
