The UnSafe Bible

I don’t want to. If I do that, do you know what will happen? I don’t think it’s the right thing to do. Despite what we think, the fact still remains. Every day we’re bombarded with choices. Decisions that require our attention and action. For Ezekiel, no matter how hard it was, he knew he had to deliver the message God told him to. The Israelite people would no longer be in the company of the Glor...

Are you a believer in Jesus? Did you know that you’ve got something that Israelite people from the Bible used to have, but lost? It’s true. We’ve got the Holy Spirit, the Glory of the Lord living in us! If you’re not a believer, this can still be yours if you ask Jesus into your heart. In his message, Pastor Ken said that the nation of Israel lost this Glory due to their sin. And, frankly, I don’t...

Back in the days of old, there were a few men who foretold the future. They also gave warnings and encouragement to believers and nonbelievers alike. Ezekiel was such a man. God gave him a vision concerning Israel and the status of their relationship with God. Unfortunately, it wasn’t great. Pastor Ken reminds us today of the distinctions that made Jerusalem and the Israelites separate from other...

There’s this country that’s living by their own standards and doing what they want. Maybe they think they’re invisible. Who knows. Regardless, through a vision God tells the prophet Ezekiel what’s going to go down. How He’s going to deal with the sin. Ezekiel knows God to be many things as Pastor Ken shares with us today, but still finds it hard to believe the judgment that’s coming. Friends, God...

How would you like to be a prophet in the days of old? Having visions of what was to come would be both terrifying and exciting, wouldn’t it? But, for Ezekiel, it was a little bewildering. Maybe even discouraging. He saw the cost of sin in God’s temple and in Israel. It wasn’t pretty. Thankfully, it doesn’t end here for those who were branded by God’s seal. These were the ones who saw the sin for...

We’re not so unlike the nation Israel. Their sin ate them up and it cost them dearly just like it does with us if we let it. You see, God’s good, BUT He doesn’t let bad behavior slide. He takes care of it, much to His dismay. I say that because Jesus WANTED a complete turnaround from the Israelites. A return to Him. But they didn’t. So, as told to the prophet Ezekiel, they’d be slain in payment fo...

As the world gets more ungodly by the day, it’s especially more important now more than ever, for you to be dependent daily on the power of the Holy Spirit. As Pastor Ken continues his teaching series through Ezekiel, he’ll be challenging you to meditate on God’s Word day and night. The enemy is consistently every day to try and indoctrinate you and draw you into all sorts of demonic doctrines and...

We live in a physical world with its four known space/time dimensions of length, width, height, and time. However, God dwells in the spirit realm, beyond the perception of our physical senses. Today, Pastor Ken will be explaining how since God is outside of time, He knows the beginning to the end and knows your past, present, and future. God is not shocked when you sin, He already knows. He saved...

Today, Pastor Ken will be exhorting you not to fall into the same cycle as the nation of Israel. They were in sin, got judged, and then they repented, God poured out His blessing on them, they grew comfortable, and then they sinned again. Each time the nation of Israel was judged due to worshiping idols and living in deliberate sin, the judgment got more severe. The Lord gave Israel numerous times...

As Pastor Ken continues his teaching series through the book of Ezekiel, he’ll be reminding you that as a Christian, all your past, present, and even future sins have been forgiven. Don’t allow the enemy to cause you to isolate and grow bitter simply because you’ve fallen. For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. There is no one righteous, no not one, the Bible says. When you...

Whenever the nation of Israel would start to walk in sin, God would send a prophet to bring correction and rebuke. Today, Pastor Ken will be explaining how it’s possible to almost sear your conscience like an iron when you keep ignoring the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The nation of Israel didn’t heed Ezekiel’s warnings and they were so steeped in sin, that instead of being troubled by the warni...

Sin had separated us from God. There was nothing that we could have done to reconcile that relationship. Because of Jesus, when God looks at us He doesn’t see our sin but the righteousness of Jesus. Because God is Holy, we are held to a standard. We cannot continue to live a sinful life just because His grace covers it. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will be sharing about the standard to which we...

Jesus led a very bold ministry. No other teacher had the understanding He did, and no one else saw the miracles that He performed. He made many lofty claims, but He always backed them up. There are many times when Jesus is straight-up calling out darkness and demonic spirits out of Land and people. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will be sharing about the boldness that Jesus had when He preached Hi...

Ezekiel was a prophet who was only allowed to speak when the Lord told him to. Many of the Old Testament Prophets were sent to warn people of their sins and encourage them to repent and turn back to God! If these prophets ever misspoke or misrepresented God they would be killed. Ezekiel came with a message pushing Israel to repent otherwise there would be consequences. In today’s message, Pastor K...

Have you ever met someone who would shift the blame off of themselves? Maybe they hold a victim mentality and believe that bad things happen to them, not because of their actions. The Israelites made conscious decisions to disobey God. God warned them what would happen, but they disregarded His warning. Many people are quick to blame God, and they disregard how their actions led them to where they...

We have God's Word, which contains all the promises that He’s made to us. We can read about all of them, but then we may actually live like those promises aren’t really active. The Christian’s life comes down to belief. Not only do we believe in God, but do we trust in His promises, and are we confident that He keeps His promises? In today’s message, Pastor Ken will be sharing the importance of tr...

The Lord has only asked for one thing from the Israelites and it was to love and keep His commandments. However, through idolatry, poor leadership of Kings, and sin, they wandered far from God. They even went as far as setting up idols in the temple. God warned them what would happen if they disobeyed, and it all came to pass. In today’s message, Pastor Ken will be sharing the importance of being...

Do you ever wonder sometimes why bad consequences happen? Though God is not the illustrator of bad things happening to people, He does tell us that there are consequences of our actions; whether it be good or bad. In today’s message, Pastor Ken is going to be talking about how the people broke the covenant of God and how their actions are going to have a consequence. In our walks, we must remember...

Have you ever had your doubts about something? It could be a story you heard from a friend or even a used car you got that just seemed a little too cheap. What about doubting God? Though it’s hard to admit, we will see in our message today by Pastor Ken that doubting God isn’t an uncommon thing! In fact, Ezekiel doubted God. As we go through this story, we learn that God never fails, never unequip...

Have you ever felt like God was asking you to do something in particular? Maybe it was going on a mission trip, giving money to a charity, or simply forgiving a friend. This is a calling from God. Today, Pastor Ken is going to be talking about how Ezekiel had a calling from God. When we are called it is not by our plans or anyone else, it is simply by the Holy Spirit that speaks to us, and when th...

Have you ever been asked to do something by God and thought that you just weren’t fit for the job? Or have you ever been asked to do something that didn’t fit your schedule? I know I have! However, in today’s message, Pastor Ken is going to be sharing a story about a man named Ezekiel that was asked to do a task by God that wasn’t very convenient for Him. As you listen, you’ll learn that convenien...

When you think of eating something, you automatically think of food right? (haha) Well in today’s message, Pastor Ken is going to be talking about “eating” God’s word. Sounds crazy, I know, but what he is talking about here is truly diving in and studying the word of God! God tells us that the Bible is alive and breathing. It is true yesterday, today, and forever. If we put us all into “eating” it...

Have you ever heard of a situation where one small thing started something big? In 2020, at a Dairy Queen in Minnesota, 900 consecutive strangers opted to pay it forward for the car behind them! That all started with one act! Well today, Pastor Ken is going to be sharing a similar story about how a group of people found a Bible inside the temple which in turn caused thousands to be saved! As we go...

What an amazing statement from Pastor Ken! God has called us as Christians to a specific purpose in our lives. Each of us has a unique role that God has assigned to us. However, we believers frequently attempt to flee God's calling, much like Jonas did when he tried to run away. And we all know how it turned out for him. Pastor Ken explains in today's message how you can stop resisting God's plan...

In sports, players form a team and compete. It is not the performance of an individual player that is important, but the performance of the team, as they rely on one another to score and win. Even in our Christian lives, we believe we are self-sufficient and try to do things on our own, which frequently leads to disaster. Pastor Ken explains today how you can put your trust in Jesus and rely on Hi...
