Eyes down for a full house - Jesus is the head of a long list of famous ancestors. Join the list too, as one of His descendants! Just as importantly, prophecy lifts our eyes up, just like the wise men and the star - all eyes on Jesus! And not just for Christmas - He's coming back again! 

Christ did not set us free just to escape something, but toembrace Someone. He didn’t just free us from sin—He freed us to love , to serve, to worship, to live. Don’t settle for half of God’s gift. Freedom from iswonderful—but freedom to is where the abundant life truly begins.

Immersion in Jesus' baptism is the beginning, but what happens next in Jesus' life and how does this reinforce the same message our being dearlyloved sons and daughters?

Our visiting speaker, Neil Thompson teaches us that the life of God flows from his presence. As we learn to practice a constant awareness of God's presence in our everyday lives we can see rivers of life flowing out from us to the world around us. How can we do that in today's distracted world?

We are gifted with gifts to those around us. We are all unique and have something significant to bring to please God, rather than to please those around us.
