The Home Video Hustle

Brendan is back to get his Hustle on and talk about some more YouTube garbage! This week we talked about Mission of Justice, also known as Martial Law 3. Will Jeff Wincott be able to stop Brigitte Nielsen and her army of peacemakers? Will Brent and Brendan get through this movie in under 2 hours, will Brent finally get his Pornhub sponsorship and what medication is he on exactly that has him so hy...

Oh yeah, it's been too long since we talked about a Dolemite movie and with the new one about to hit Netflix soon, it was time to go back! The Human Tornado is the second Dolemite movie and it's a whole lot crazier than the first. This episode also features another segment of "P's Corner," we discuss a fear we both had growing up and PJ has a revelation about grenades! We hope you enjoy the show....

This weeks episode is brought to you by our Patreon supporter, Awful_Hero! He wanted us to do it for the culture with this one so he's making us review the 1984 hip hop classic, Breakin'! This one has been a long time coming and because of technical issues, we even got to talk about it twice! Fun right?!? Be sure to stick around after the show to hear a new track from Trade Voorhees' upcoming albu...

We had major technical difficulties again this week but we didn't wanna not put ANYTHING out so, I dug into the vaults and found something you may enjoy. Way before HVH was a thing, Brent recorded a podcast episode just to try it out and then never released it. This can be considered the original unaired pilot episode.  Sorry again that we had to switch up the episode so late notice, gonna re-reco...

Brendan is back to get his Hustle on once again and he chose to watch the Billy Blanks classic (?) Expect No Mercy! Neither of us have seen any of his movies before so can we be entertained by the fitness guru? We also talk about binge watching tv shows, the Spider-Man drama, Degrassi and people getting knocked out. Hope you enjoy the show! Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook Mus...

PJ came into town for a day so the hype levels are through the roof this episode! He said he wanted action so we watched Tekken, the film adaptation of the long running video game series. We've done a lot of video game adaptations on the show but will this be better than the rest? With hype levels being high, the tangents come fast and often. We talked about the new Dolemite movie trailer, Gamesto...

Well, PJ couldn't record this week and The Spirit was out making runs so I called Brendan up from WWTT Podcast and he wanted to finally get a chance to talk about A Serbian Film. This movie has been banned from their podcast by his co-host Nathan so he came to get his Hustle on. I won't lie to ya'll, this is a tough episode. This movie has a lot of things to talk about that are sick, depraved, sto...

This week we finally step into the View Askewniverse as we finally watch Clerks and surprisingly PJ has seen this one before! The Spirit joins the convo this week and she has some real issues with one of the main characters. Other than Clerks you also get the usual tangents like PJ and Spirit debating about hippies and stoners, stories about our first times having sex, Spirit and PJ share stories...

The technical issue bug finally hit us, we lost the last 30 to 40 minutes of this episode but 2/3 of it was able to be salvaged so you can still hear us tell you all about Tha Eastsidaz! There are a lot of clips in this episode and Brent asks PJ a question that REALLY makes him have to think. We apologize for the choppy sound this week but we hope you still listen and enjoy the episode. We still h...

PJ's back! We got the new setup running and to celebrate we went back to the Patreon list and are watching a classic that neither of us have seen before. Will Sixteen Candles live up to the hype? This actually ended up being a tangent light episode so that could be a good thing or a bad thing...Listen and hear all about it. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Intro & Outro Music...

PJ hasn't received his recording equipment in the mail so Brendan stepped in to help me talk about one of the weirder movies we've done on the show and that's saying something. How weird? Well, this movie has a penis monster puppet, lots of gore, puppet sex and was featured at Sundance...Yeah. Lots of tangents were had as we talked about wrestling, The Blair Witch movies, new school cartoons, The...

This is the last episode we recorded before PJ had to move away. Don't worry though, the show will go on and we made sure P went out with a bang! We watched Never Die Alone from 2004 and were drunk and still drinking the entire show so there was A LOT going on this week! Brent got hold of a cap gun, PJ learned about slap competitions, there is some video game talk and lots of clips this week. Hope...

We've been drinking again so you know that this is gonna be a longer episode! This week we're talking about the Ridley Scott film, Black Rain. Neither of us have seen this before and it sounds like not many other people have either. Other than the movie, we also talk about the Yakuza, currency differences, the Sega Channel, old dial up internet, the Dewey Decimal System and Brent goes on and on ab...

PJ's not feeling well this week which makes me feel even for for having made him watch Torque. I wont spoil the review too much but let's just say that there were a lot of tangents this week where we talked about things like Steve Harvey, tasers, Eminem and just a lot of hip hop in general. We do it for ya'll! Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Intro & Outro Music by - Trade Voo...

Not quite Halloween time but screw it we're watching some horror anyway. This week PJ watched the original "Pet Semetary" for the first time! People consider this a classic but it's time to see if it's Hustle Approved. Other than the movie we also discuss "hip young lingo," semi trucks, "fur babies," video games, suppositories, Halloweentown and we do a lot of bad accents. We hope you enjoy the sh...

For the fourth time now we've gone to the Patreon list and for the second time now it's a movie I actually already owned! We watched The Fifth Element this week thanks to Patrick from The Superiority Complex Podcast! (He drew us that logo if you didn't know!) I don't know if it was the movie or what but we were real hype this episode. We talked about the movie, Dr. Strangelove, Star Wars, George L...

This has been an often requested movie and now we both get to see it for the first time. Will The Last Kiss Goodnight be as hype as everyone says or will we get to make some more people mad? In this episode we also talk about Pokemon, RPG games, evolving tastes in pop culture, payphones, broken bones, PJ gets upset and Canadian accents are unleashed. We hope you enjoy the show! Follow us on Twitte...

It's Patreon time again and this time we were gifted with Ichi The Killer from Cult 45 Podcast! This is gonna be somethin' special because this will be PJ's introduction to director, Takashi Miike. We love weird movies with a lot of violence so we should love this...Right? Also on this episode we talk about Hip Hop (of course), Sailor Moon, Anime, sex, cabaret clubs and the revelations that come p...

We bet money you haven't seen this one before. A long forgotten buddy cop movie from our favorite year (1989), this movie stars Jay Leno & Pat Morita as two cops trying to get hold of a stolen turbo charger or something... Energy is high this weeks and the convo ranges from the movie to us talking about Charlie Sheen, vampires, Lil B, Mortal Kombat, music and a bunch more. You may be surprised by...

Now that all the celebrating is behind us it's time to get this third year of the show going strong and this movie feels like a classic HVH pick. We like to do big movies and ones you all know but we LOVE to do the ones that no one has heard of and that's what we have here! Made during the period where Wesley Snipes was machine gunning movies to the DVD racks, "Game of Death" has all the hallmarks...

IT'S 2 YEARS BAY-BEEEEEE!!! Yeah, we just celebrated but that was for 100 episodes now we get to be hype for being two years in the game! So what movie are we doing for this special occasion? For the 1 Year Anniversary show we did Blackenstein so we're gonna do another Black movie and one with a title that's definitely gonna have to be censored. The 70's were a time man... Also on the episode we d...

The hype levels are high this week as we get back to Star Wars! PJ liked Episode 1, so will the trend continue upward or will he go back to hating these movies? There is one bit of this movie that gets talked about in GREAT detail but other than that we discuss Flubber, why we shouldn't have the force, being whipped, the Michael Jackson documentary, Lion King and Dumbo and PJ starts off the show w...

It's episode 100 BAAYYY-BEEEEE!!! We made it ya'll and we plan on going for 100 more but for this special occasion, we're doing Django Unchained because PJ has been wanting to do it forever. The hype levels are high this episode so other than movie talk we also discuss the answers we got to our Lord of the Rings questions, PJ gets hip to Michael McDonald, we unsurprisingly talk about slavery and t...

One more episode before the big one double 0 and PJ picked yet another grindhouse movie for us to watch but this time it's an actual one from 1975! Just look at the title of the movie and the poster, you know what this is about to be! There were lots of tangents this week including us talking about cars on the side of the road, car cigarette lighters, flicking blunts at gas stations, school smarts...

It's time to dig into the Patreon bag once again and this time we're given Hobo With A Shotgun to review from the homie Mike Bagford! Brent actually owns this movie so it wont be another From Justin To Kelly situation! This movie is wild and has a lot to talk about but outside of the flick, we also talk about Technicolor, discuss crazy Canadians, the consequences of spitting on people, "tauntauns,...
