These mothers are an example to all Christ-followers of how to stand strong and trust God at all times, and to care for and nurture others, extending God's love and care to them. There is much to learn from these godly women. Weston...

Sometimes there are things in our lives that no amount of "trying to stop" will help. If the thing you are trying to change is important to your relationship with God, it is important enough to take drastic action. This is when you might need to "Burn the Ships". Burning the ships is the point of no return, it's all or nothing. But it's usually what is necessary and w...

In Romans 12:1-2 Paul pleads with us to, "give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him." Of course we want to worship God in a way that will honor Him and that He will accept, but what could we possibly do that would be enough for all He has done for us? And what...

So far in our study of the book of Romans, 14 Pages, each chapter has been filled with overwhelming hope! Now as we come to chapter 9, it seems Paul has thrown us a curveball of confusion! It is full of difficult passages about predestination versus free will. So which is it? Are some people made by God to want to follow Jesus, and some are made to turn the other way? Do we really have a choice in...

If you are in Christ Jesus who can ever be against you? If God gave up His own Son for you, won’t He also give you everything else? Who dares accuse you if God has chosen you for His own? No one—for God has made you right with Himself. This is true for all who follow Jesus, so why do we believe that voice from the enemy that tears us down and condemns us? What this message, "Objection...OVERR...

Creative Director Tim Jirrels covers Romans 8:18-30, focusing the hope we have in Jesus. In this passage, Paul says that the things we suffer in this life are nothing at all compared to the glory that waits for us. Tim explained that as Christians on earth, we are trapped in the tension of the "Already-Not Yet". When you surrender your life to Christ, you become a child of God. And yet,...

Conviction is God’s tool that He uses in our lives when we do something wrong. This conviction allows us to see our sin, and turn from it in repentance. Satan has another plan; when we sin he wants us to feel guilt and shame and to continue to feel the weight of these emotions to paralyze us in our walk with God. The truth is, God put all our guilt and shame on His Son Jesus on the cross. How do w...

This message features a life-changing method of prayer and s...

This week’s message was jam-packed! It is really two messages of our 14 Pages series in one, Romans chapters four and six! To summarize, Pastor Rick talked about four things: The importance of studying the Old Testament. The importance of knowing what God has promised you, both in Scripture and through the Holy Spirit, and letting those promises shape how you live. The importance of understanding...

We all know better than to poke a bear. It is powerful and dangerous. If left to its own desires, our flesh can be just as powerful and dangerous. The sinful desires of the flesh can lead to death and destruction, but Jesus has come on a rescue mission to save us from our flesh and to enable us to walk according to the Spirit. We all have a choice of two different paths. Which will you choose toda...
