Words to Live By Series: Reconciled & Restored. Today we look at the other side of Romans 5:1-11.  We discuss the many benefits we receive from being reconciled to God through Jesus.

Our Bible passage today is found in Romans 5:1-11.  We will look at our position before God before accepting the free gift of reconciliation through Jesus.  We will celebrate that even when we were powerless, sinful, enemies of God, Jesus took it all on himself and restored us.  

181. Casting Our Cares: Words to Live By Today we look at 1 Peter 5:6-7 and the practice of casting our cares and anxieties on God.  

Rain, Rain Go Away (Psalm 46). Today we discuss finding comfort in God's presence in the difficult days in our lives. We'll be back in the coming days to wrap up our reading of the book of Ephesians.

Ephesians: Peace. Today we look at the concept of Jesus being our peace. We read Ephesians 2:14-18 and look at how God made one church for himself through Jesus. We also look at the ways God brings peace in our lives.

Ephesians: Brought Near. Today we read Ephesians 2:11-13 and look at what it means to be brought near to God.

Ephesians: New Life! Today's scripture is found in Ephesians 2:1-10. Today, Paul reminds the readers that apart from God we are dead in sin. But through Jesus we are made alive. Powerful truths in a deep word picture. We discuss the similarities of our new life to that of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

Prayer Time: Ephesians 1. Today we read Ephesians 1:15-23 and discuss the prayer of Paul for the church at Ephesus. We look at the elements of his prayer and how we can find encouragement for ourselves and for those we praye for in his words.

Ephesians: The Abiding Principle. Today we read Ephesians 1:11-14 in the ESV translation. We discuss the concept of our salvation as an inheritance from God and the gift of the Holy Spirit as our guarantee of that inheritance.
