Set Meridian

I have to admit! It caught me by surprise when I saw it rising and filling all with light! It was a calm festive night and well, it was time to go!

I was fighting to keep my attention between the book I was reading to you and your eyes. Because the way you were looking at me, stole my soul and captured my heart. Poems are meant to inspire and give, much like your eyes.

Repeating the motions, sticking to patterns, and back to the same. Like ballast pulls me down further from where I want to be. Deeper, melancholic, and sullen. Yet strangely comfortable and at least it is the place I know. Even in total darkness, I know my way, my spiral way down.

Sometimes being all by yourself and burdened by myriads of thoughts, it's not so bad at all. Enjoy that me time!

Grace me with your movement, with your sight, with all that you are. Being of beauty, smiles, and intelligence like no other. I drown in your smell, complete my dreams with the sparkle of your eyes. Let me be here right now and be part of your life, like you are of mine!

Incidentally, I say! You laugh! Then we laugh together as it makes no sense! You lead, I lead, who cares? Pass me, let me take you over, who cares? We're heading in the same direction, together. Let's then play that game, enjoy that game, and let the competition bubble up, after all. We all win! Love and kisses!

I cling again like a shadow on a wall. Keep revolving over the same spots, tripping on the same stones, and generally making a sad story of myself, while crawling my way back to where the light shines. If you don't mind, please hold that light higher so it can be seen from far, so I can see from where I now stand.

Yes, I had to say goodbye with a smile and give you a big happy hug. I must admit I did it only to support the cause we agreed upon and help you depart knowing that the project was worth it! Yet inside I was sad and lonely and the echo of the door closing behind you was still lingering in the air and my heart was already missing you. Tears were rolling down my cheeks to water down the realization...

I look forward with longing to a long holiday together! I enjoy us together, outside the tedium and normality. Going here, going there, holding hands. Cooking meals in far places, eating out, watching sunsets, enjoying us! Love you all so much!

Again, here we stand drowned in language, trying to explain what you mean. Sometimes I think that my tiresome and monotonous tirade of words, as I attempt to describe the simplest thing might be slow, yet it is the only way I know how to properly deal with the things that are important and that require the right detail and attention.

I'm not always right. This time I know I might be right. It's the tingling, it's the rush, the elements, the thunder, and all that feels right. I know I'm not always right. Yet, this time, oh! my oh! my!

I hope you have a great birthday! I know that like the typo in the song name, I make mistakes. I'm only trying to do good by us and I really hope that's better than sitting idle and avoiding risk. I love you so much and that's that!

Live freely! Size and fragility can't stop your flight. Buzz around and visit all the flowers, enjoy their colors, and also share yours!

Sometimes I wonder about resilience and rebounding, we tend to look too harsh into our soul and aim to keep it all smooth and sterilized. I think we should err to learn and grow. To find new drive and change. If you don't try, you don't fail. Fail many times until you're happy!

Take my hand. Come on! stretch just a bit more and then I will carry your weight, soothe your sorrow and do my best to brighten your days!

We mostly think that talking is sharing, that giving is caring. I say it is very easy to give, the difficult thing is to give oneself. Communicate, listen, share, compliment and reprimand. All is good when the goal is mutual success.

My heart pounded as you got closer, as I dreamed you closer. Your silhouette, your smile, your hair, finally all of you took shape and form from memories, and they are beautiful memories indeed.
