What are the things that we treasure? The things that we hold onto tightly? There is nothing wrong with valuing precious things in this world, like I do with Katie and this watch… the important things is that we have our priorities in line and recognise the worth they hold, and the limit of that worth.

‘Let us renew our commitment to ‘wait on God’… to be attentive to the presence of Christ in our midst. To prioritise our willingness to learn from Jesus and live out his calling on our lives as disciples.’

In this parable, Jesus erased the BOUNDARIES of exclusion. It is a message of togetherness, there are no Jew, gentiles, black or white. In Christ, you are my brother, you are my sister. So, take me by the hand.
