Hi, I am a parent to three children, all of which have special needs including Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, ARFID and PDA. Although, I am now a full time carer to the children, I have come from an extensive background and education in family support. I am now a SEND advocate and share my honest and non judgemental experiences and advice. Join me for the journey! It is an exhausting but rewarding one!

Why does my child suffer with emotional based school avoidance? What reasonable adjustments can I request at school to help get them back to school? This is a different take on emotional based school avoidance and discusses topics that may not have been considered. The outlook I share may shed a little more light on the internal struggles children with Autism/ADHD/PDA and Anxiety can suffer with.

Having children with needs and completing the interventions for those needs can sometimes be overwhelming! The stress is literally running through my soul, yet, on goes that mask in front of the children. Happy on the outside, overwhelmed on the inside.
