We must read the instruction manual and make sure we keep the first thing first. 

Pastor Houston delivers a Spirit-filled message to a packed house showing us that everything including the cross was in God's plan from the beginning showing that the Lord is fully in control. 

Jesus Christ came to earth on purpose for a purpose and just like Jesus, you were sent and born at exactly the minute you were supposed to be born--not a second too early or a second too late for purpose and on purpose.

You have entered the race, but are you qualified? If you are qualified are you in it to just race or to win? 

Are you new and improved or still the same as always?

It is a great thing to be saved, but are you consumed? Do you have an unction in you from the Holy Spirit to reach out to the lost or are you able to sleep at night without thinking of those around you going to hell that you could've witnessed to? 

Last week, the Holy Ghost took over the service and we moved out of the way. This week, the Lord allowed pastor Houston to preach the message he had prepared at the Lord's ordained time today about our rights as children of God. 

It seems that many of us are so quick to skim past the promises of God in Scripture that we often forget the authority that was given to us by God. Through Jesus Christ, we are joint-heirs and a holy nation. It is in this word that we find our true identity. If we are going to truly be Spirit-empowered, we must realize this fact. 

Pastor Houston is back with part 3 of our sermon series on being Spirit-empowered. This week, he teaches from ACTS chapter 4. 

Our in-person service was canceled due to inclement weather, so Rob Frazier delivered a sermon today via FB Live. 

Today's service was held in the fellowship hall due to the new carpet which you all sewed into being installed in God's sanctuary. We will be back in our normal sanctuary next week. 

Today's sermon is the first in a month-long series of sermons on being Spirit-empowered. Pastor Houston preached from 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 about how God's gifts are intended for all of us and how through one Spirit, we are baptized into one body as many.

We are called to follow "the" leader, not "a" leader, and if we are to walk Holy as God is Holy then the only One we can follow is the only One without sin who was blameless which is Jesus Christ. 

In this sermon, pastor Houston takes a look at 2 Corinthians 3:12-18 and talks about boldness in the presence of stagnation and how we must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ if we are to move from glory to glory.

Today is a special event. It is our first pastor appreciation service of many led by Pastor Randel McCarty, Asst. Superintendent of the TN Ministry Network and his wife Pastor Darlene McCarty. Pastor Randel delivers a message called "The Good Shepherd".
