Pastor Jeffrey Walter

In 1 Corinthians 12:12 -13, we understand how the Spirit (mind) we receive through our regeneration leads us to a place of expression (as members of the body of Christ) of the various aspects of the same Spirit.   We come to an appreciation of the different uses performed by different members but coordinated by the same Spirit. We receive an internal realization of the need to take our place...

The aim of God is to bring us to a place of perception through the transformation of our hearts. With this perception, we appreciate the vision of God for the entire human race on a deeper level.    With this perception, we begin to realize the need to contribute to the government of God and seek to enforce it in the same manner as God would. We become the collective expressions of the L...

God created man with the capacity to receive and contain Love and Wisdom from God, such that the Lord may dwell in him and operate through him. Man has opportunity through freewill to receive or reject this work of God in him.    In this message, we learn that in choosing to yield our capacities as the habitation of God, we must come to the realisation that this constitutes our worship o...

God is calling us to a career in Himself. This career is of eternal value and involves functioning with God to affect the souls of men. This career fundamentally entails the preaching and teaching of Doctrine.    We must yield ourselves to the influence of God by sacrificing time, love for reputation, material gain and every earthly thing that stands in the way of building an impactful c...

As the word of God instructs us to not love the world and anything in it, we must concurrently build and develop above all things a career in God. We must note that the glory of a worldly career passes away and only goes as far as this natural realm.    The Lord likens the man who pursues a career in God to a wise man who builds his house upon a rock, wherewith the rains and floods could...

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world world, the love of the Father is not in him". (1 John 2:15 )    The importance of this truth cannot be overemphasized. To know God in true spirituality and to make eternal impact, a man must be ready to sacrifice everything that the world has to offer.    Like Paul, we must count all things...

Chief of all our efforts to access spiritual verities, we must have the understanding that the world does not provide encouragement for seeking God and living by his commandments. The world's very construct is with various oppositions to God's Kingdom.    We must have an aggressive approach towards seeking the Kingdom of God and obtaining the rest the Lord has promised all those who keep...

To access the spiritual blessings that are available to us in Christ, our appreciation of the subjects of Faith and Justification is very important.    Faith (i.e. confidence in God and His Word) is established in our hearts when we like Christ, our forerunner, are glorified by our encounter with the Divinity of the Lord as a result of our overcoming in temptations. (John 7:39 ; Romans 8...

In accessing what God has for us through prayer, the desire for God's intervention in our situation is very crucial. This desire, however, must not stand in the way of our openness to have a course correction from the Spirit of God whilst in prayer.    This turning of our will from ourselves towards God when we pray in the Spirit opens us up to receive power, with which we can exert the...

God's universe is governed by laws. These laws dictate how things function and interrelate with each other. Spiritual things in like manner are also governed by laws that dictate how access can be obtained to partake in spiritual verities.    The law of access is the means Divine Truth can be received as the influx of God's power, through the coming of the Holy Ghost, into our lives. &nb...

The adversary does not only work to resist God's desire concerning us individually but also at a corporate level. The devil knowing the excellency of the Glory that will come upon the Lord's house when God's vision for men is accomplished, works aggressively to hinder this vision. We must therefore be sober and vigilant, becoming ardent bearers of the Lord's vision and allowing the Lord's Word to...

As we live our lives on this earth, we need to realize that we are set in the midst of both angelic forces and demonic forces. The choices we make, and thus life we appropriate, are reactions to either influences. In our pursuit of spirituality, we often easily believe in the potency of the angelic influence but somehow don't realize that the same capacity for good can be perverted and an equal me...

Life is full of difficult experiences and bad encounters and giving ourselves over to the negative aftermath and trauma leaves us open to demonic influence which leads us to form wrong conclusions about God, people and ourselves. We must begin to take active steps after recognising this fact, to not succumb to the negative effects of such experiences but look to the Lord for help.

God's desire to flow towards us is without a decision. That is to say that, God by His nature is in a constant perpetual state of giving Himself freely unto whoever has room for Him. For this reason, if the presence of God or His will is not found in us, there is definitely a resistance to the flow of God, and it needs to be broken. In this message, we are made aware of the resistance and are bein...

Beloved, the Lord would not have us ignorant of the existence of demonic forces and its operations (Ephesians 6:12 , 1 Peter 5:8). More often than not, we find our minds being filled with thoughts and our hearts filled with desires that derail us from good actions we must do and rather urge us toward evil conduct. These thoughts do not originate from us but are a result of the demonic forces from...

The Lord desires that through our obedience to his commandments, we are prepared to become a sanctuary, through which Good is brought to all men everywhere.    Through Divine Encounters with the Lord, we receive deep revelations of the Lord's eternal plan for the human race, and particularly, concerning our unique participation in it.    In this message, we observe how lik...

In line with the Lord's work in us, we are prepared as vessels for His operation in the world. In becoming vessels through whom the Lord is expressed, we need to appreciate our uniqueness as created by the Lord. Our uniqueness influences the way we receive from Him.    By appreciating this, we avoid merely being copycats. We delve deep into our uniqueness to express the Lord in all His d...

Our Spiritual Journey must be marked with Divine Encounters, points in our lives where we acquire spiritual perception/knowledge ( Ye Shall Know The Truth ), to know God in the Spirit. Through these Divine Encounters, the Lord makes His abode in us and dwells in us. He makes us His Unique Vessels (2 Timothy 2:20,21). The Lord also desires that through our Divine Encounters, we become a people ( Ki...
