A Bujo Creation 15.10.2023 10:33
I was crunched for time -- trying to make a twelve month journal for my daughter. Rather than being on the verge of crying and missing her in the time we had left, I decided to pour my love into this creation. The journal itself came from Notebook Therapy . Check on the photos I share on the blog: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2023/10/10/a-bujo-creation/ If you are enjoying the podcast, please sub...

Lovely Poetry 06.10.2023 2:46
Autumn is my favorite time of year. I become more reflective this time of year. It is so beautiful out and I feel almost giddy walking through fallen leaves. It can also be found on my blog here . Be sure to follow me here or on my blog a...

Oh, Mokpo! 23.07.2023 8:41
Mokpo ended up being our favorite place to visit. I can't quite put my finger on the reason, but my daughter and I feel quite fondly about our couple of days there. Maybe it was because we finally felt confident in navigating transportation. Or maybe because getting to be by the sea was what we had longed to do. Whatever the reason, we loved Mokpo and miss it the most. If you are enjoying this...
June Snail Mail 21.07.2023 3:39
This issue is about the Beautiful Gate. Found only in Acts 3, twice, but no historical records reveal which gate at the temple in Jerusalem was so called. But, the title beautifully applies to our front doors as well. Be sure to stop by my blog to read this issue of Snail Mail for yourself: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2023/06/30/june-snail-mail-3/ You can read each issue early each month by beco...

June Reading + A Poem 01.07.2023 7:19
This month, I only chose two books to read. It was nice to take it slow, as these two books invited a slower pace in their reading. I also included the full text of the poem featured in the June Snail Mail. I'd love to hear about what you've been reading this month. Remember to subscribe and follow On the Journey and share it with a friend this week. 💕 Don't forget to check out my new...
Committed Blessing 21.06.2023 6:19
We all need a bit of encouragement now and then, but rather than wait for someone to come and encourage us, we can take initiative and become the encourager. I participated in a challenge for the month of May, to bless and encourage one person anonymously every day. I learned a few things about me and about encouragement. You can read this episode on my blog at: https://amybain.wordpress.com/2023/...

The Deep End and Pohang 25.05.2023 7:40
We thought a couple of bus rides meant we had it all figured out. Not. When we arrived in Pohang, we learned the bus system the hard way and quite quick. Pohang was wonderful. Lighthouse, ocean, and filming locations of one of our favorite k-dramas, Hometown ChaChaCha . It was a very quick trip, but we enjoyed it so much. You can find lots of photos of this part of our trip on my blog, On the Jour...

Adventures Begin 26.04.2023 4:49
Adventure! This is my year of double blessings. On my birthday I made a list of five things that were out of my comfort zone or would be life-changing. One of those five things was a trip to South Korea with my daughter. It was the first time out of the country for both of us. Her dream destination and one she had been saving for over a year to travel to. Let the adventures begin! This episode is...
