We've added a few character qualities of a believer that don't appear in the list of the Fruit of the Spirit. Alertness is one quality talked about a lot in the Bible. This quality of the Fruit of the Spirit is the "lynch pin," which means it holds all the other qualities together. Remove this aspect of the Fruit and the whole thing falls apart. Another character quality in the collective group of qualities known as the Fruit of the Spirit, found in Galatians 5. Rick and Clark talk about true goodness, expressed through Jesus' actions and attitudes, and the difference between being nice and being good. They also talk about what we do when we feel we want to be good but wind up not being good. 

Another character quality that makes of the collective "Fruit of the  Spirit," and which is a quality of Christ.
