Metanoia In Christ

The extent to which you prioritize the word is the extent to which you prioritize your growth and the essence of your life.

The cost of greatness is responsibility, every significant achievement demands a price, the price of hard work. Nothing falls on your laps by chance. You must do the work.

The quiet work of character building, the unseen acts of kindness, the defense of the defenseless, and the silent sacrifices pave the way for a life that truly shines openly. The secret place is where you are most prepared for the world and its rewards.

Success is not a destination thing, it’s a daily thing. We do not get true fulfillment from pursuing after material things or money! We seek first and in fact only the kingdom of God.

Do not expect results where you haven’t made input, do not desire success when you haven’t invested effort.

Leaders are to always lead with justice and humility, because God is a just judge. Whether it be a follower, a protégée, mentee or servant- leaders are to honour them no matter what. Treat them how you want to be treated.

Being a Christain isn’t for filling form sake, we don’t claim to be Christian’s because we were born into it. It is beyond that.

God’s remedy for failure is that you are found in His purpose. Alignment to His will heal any person who encounters the weight of failure. The impact of failure will never be fatal if it happened when obeying God!

The devil can disguise as an angel of light, bringing many to deception and devouring them as they are unsuspecting of his wiles, strategies and woes. The world is not as bright as you think it is, it is filled with darkness and evil.

Our behavior stems from the understanding of our identity in Christ. The world does not give us an identity, Christ does!

May we get to the point where leaders will not pose to be all perfect, but be vulnerable enough to share their struggles and shortcomings with their protégés, mentees, followers, and or church members!

Believers should never shy away from discussing real-life issues. We are never to shy away from these conversations because God doesn’t only have an input in every ramification of our lives, but He’s the author of them all.

Why must we be silent in the church, we are to be allowed to ask questions and we do deserve answers. Embracing and imbibing the Bible culture of answering difficult questions is a non-negotiable.

There are no references in scripture for competition, what we find is the fact that everyone is to press towards the mark of the high calling. We are a body, complementing each other, enabling and assisting each other to achieve destiny.

Patience they say is a virtue, it is a fruit of the spirit, must be cultivated. We have been called into the rest of our God, but impatience, restlessness and agitations can cause a havoc!

Foolishness is another destiny derailer, one thing God gives liberally to anyone who asks is wisdom. Folly is dangerous, and it blinds its victims from consequences of careless decisions made without engaging wise counsel.

Everything has become cruise, young people insulting men of God old enough to be their grandparents. Never hallowing the hallowed! Profanity crawls in subtly.

Every corner on social media you find people eating so much like gluttons, you find pornographic contents flying around without restraint or restrictions. Unrestrained indulgence is now the order of the day!

Covetousness is as disastrous as any other works of the flesh. Though we are permitted to be covetous only in the aspect of the gifts of the spirit. Covet only the best gifts.

God does not cause church hurts, imperfect people of God do. What is your response to hurts and offenses when they arise? Is it to leave the church and be bitter at everyone?

Never try to hold on to things that you can share to others. Whether resources, insights, love, products and services. Your talents too should not be hoarded even if you are getting people to pay for it, please do not hoard your gift and abilities- let it out to the world.

It is easy to become just outrightly wicked and cold these days. Are you still rooted in love for Hod and your fellow humans?

Hunger is good, but what do you hunger for- praises, fame, popularity? What should we really hunger for?

Dying to oneself, denying oneself of the pleasure we need is getting more and more difficult as the day go by. But this is one thing we must learn so as to be able to achieve the best result in the shortest possible time!

Destiny is not in jumping around and fixing things. Destiny could also look like sitting still, listening, and receiving instructions.
