Dr. Richard Zeile
Martin Luther's Evening Prayer
"An Unchanging Faith for Changing Lives" describes the message of God for us in the turmoil of the 21st Century. This faith is taught at St. John's Lutheran Church of Taylor, Michigan, and other congregations of the Lutheran church-Missouri Synod. Rev. Dr. Richard Zeile, Pastor at St. John's, applies the Word of God to our everyday experiences. God's LAW always accuses, but God's GOSPEL shows where grace can be found, through Jesus Christ who died for our sin, but rose that we may have eternal life.

Lutheran Rite of Baptism 15.05.2020 9:02
Lutherans, like the Early Church, believe that the power of God reaches us in the sacrament, making us His child in baptism. One does not need to be an adult to inherit salvation, though one must be taught its value; therefore Lutherans only baptize when there is the promise of continuing to grow in Christian faith with the Church, and this applies to adults as well as children. Coast to Coast Broadcast February 26, 2020 - Psalm 91 "With Us in Trouble" 31.03.2020 28:31
After Psalm 91 is prayed with the congregation, the meaning of God's promise to be with us in trouble is explored. Sometimes God helps us avoid trouble, as when we follow God's laws and avoid the trouble that comes to those who wrong others. Sometimes God gives us the strength to endure and forgive those who have wronged us. And at still other times, God sustains us through trouble so th...

An "epiphany" is a manifestation of a god, or one's experience of this. Christ was manifest as God at His Baptism when the Father spoke from the sky, at the wedding of Cana when He turned water into wine, and at the Transfiguration when Moses and Elijah appeared with Him on Mt. Tabor. But the first manifestation of Christ's divinity was the star that guided the wise men who bro...

Churches that utilize the Three-Year calendar make use of thi...
