Let’s Make A List!!

Lights, camera, action! This week we take a look at our favorite film soundtracks of all time and pick one song to represent the whole soundtrack as we compile and create our May playlist. Sure, Saw will be included, but what else makes the cut?

This week we discuss the films we absolutely cannot stand. As two people who are very passionate about motion pictures, you can rest assured that we will rant and rave about the movies we hate. You can also count on us having a few controversial takes. Bring on the hate!

This week we talk about those unsung heroes of every show, film and video game series; the recurring character. Not quite enough screentime to be considered a regular, but more than enough to escape one-off status, they can breathe fresh air into the franchise and interact with other characters in a way that makes them memorable. Jack finds yet another way to bring up the Saw franchise.

With Jack out of town on a class trip, our resident Swiftie, Tara steps in to help with our May Let's Make a (Play)list. This month, we are talking all-things Travis Kelce's girlfriend, the amazing and incredible Taylor Swift. We talk the differences between original recordings and their Taylor's Version counterparts and Josh even makes the mistake of using "era" incorrectly....

When you think of a two-person team, who comes to mind? What makes a phenomenal working tandem? This week we discuss our favorite duos from fiction and real life and then work as a team to create what we believe to be a solid top-ten list. While we might believe ourselves to be one of the best, we didn't include ourselves to make it fair to others. :P

This week we are trying out a new format! With "Assemble Your Crew", we take a scenario and then put who we believe to be the five-best individuals in to cook...in this case, literally; you have to cook a meal for five-hundred people and you have one-hour to get it done. Who are you picking? We offer up our nominees, and a few will probably surprise you!

Yo, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish, but Josh and Jack had one of the best podcasts of all time! One of the best podcasts of all time! This month's spotlight playlist is none other than Chi-town's own Kanye West. We discuss our favorite tracks and then sit down and create our definitive Ye playlist. The link to the Spotify version of the playlist is listed below: htt...

Instead of our "obligatory mention" of the Saw franchise, this week's podcast is devoted entirely to this series of films. Jack takes the reigns and walks us through his favorites and dissects them with the precision of Jigsaw himself. This is our first podcast to feature a warning...but it's just for some of the gore.

Sometimes you're playing a game and the music sticks with you. What do you do when these earworms strike? If you're Jack or Josh, you probably listen to them outside of the game. In this week's episode, we talk about the soundtracks from video games that we love to rock with when we're doing chores, work or just hanging out. Our number one may surprise you...

A man has fallen into the river in Lego City! This episode is our FIRST on-location as we record from KC Brick Store. Our special guest list-maker is none other than store owner, Dan B! Dan and Jack talk through their favorite themes and builds and Jack creates a mini-fig of Ash Williams as we talk all-things Lego!

With Jack sick, Josh is stuck doing his first solo podcast...the perfect opportunity to talk about not only his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, but most importantly, the players that he loves the most. From the 1960's to present day, there's representation from all of the "eras" of Chiefs football. YOU GOTTA FIGHT...FOR YOUR RIGHT...TO PAAAAAARRRRRRTAAAAYYYY!!

This week, in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the album "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge", we are talking about Jack's all-time favorite musical act, My Chemical Romance. From Season one through season nine, this is our definitive list of the most fun, most cringe and emotion-inducing moments with Dunder-Mifflin's finest. Josh and Tara also team up with Hunter for a karoke-worthy re...

This week we spend time talking about the celebrities that we admire the most. Whether you like film, music, sports, or corporate mascots, there's a little something here for everyone. After missing a week, will Jack find a way to mention the Saw franchise or will the streak be lost for all time?

This week, we switch-up the format just a little and create a top-ten list on the fly. We talk about the most iconic comedic films in our personal opinions. Comedies...I wonder how Jack will incorporate the Saw franchise this week...

What draws us to certain characters on our favorite television shows? Is it how closely they resemble us? Is it that they represent something we want to achieve? Whatever the reason, they are almost always solely responsible for our investment in said program. This week we look at our favorite live action TV show characters and talk about what we like about them. How is Jack going to tie-in Saw th...

From Iron Man to Dr. Strange; from Thor to Black Widow, this week we discuss our favorite films in the ever-expanding MCU. Jack pulls-out the yarn and makes some connections that you'll have to hear to believe.

We change up the format this week as we look at artists and musical groups of the past fifty years. Jack faces a realization and swallows a very bitter pill-SWIFT-ly. :P

Every great hero, villain, anti-hero or those in between has a protégé; someone that works as a faithful assistant. This week we talk about our favorite sidekicks from our favorite franchises and in the battle for number one, something that has never happened on Let's Make A List occurs...
